Author Topic: SSPX priests quietly sent away? (Read 1717 times)

I noticed that two of our four priests are gone on vacation or sabatical, maybe that's all it is, but I'm wondering if they were just "quietly sent away", because they do not go along with Bishop Fellay and his clique of utopians? We will know more in one month, if they return or not.

Anyone notice priests going on "vacations" all the sudden?

thanks for reminding me. I just did. Time for me to go now and complete errands and make sure my husband doesn't rent the "cottage" out*LOL*

We had a very nice and devout French priest leave our SSPX parish several months ago. They gave no explanation for his departure. Funny thing is, this large parish is now down to a couple of resident priests. As such, they've had to suspend High Masses until further notice. I know priests with the Society are reassigned on a fairly regular basis, but I'm still wondering about this one. :confused1:

"Look, nothing has happened, nothing is signed, wait for the outcome of the GC, calm down, take some vacation, pray, be holy, realize that you are in a time of desolation and trust in God."

I definitely will update it right after the General Chapter. A month worth of activity will have transpired between then and now. I heard this about Fr. Hewko, but can't say I was surprised.

Pretty soon they'll run out of priests. Funny thing is that these softies will now have to do some real work running around to fill in for those priests on "vacation and sabatical".
