SSPX priests ordination verification

    • I was curious, do SSPX priests or Resistance get bothered if one wants to verify who consecrated them?Has anyone experienced this being an issue one way or the other?

    • I've asked many trad priests to their face and in confession (before starting my confession) who/when they were ordained, each and every one I asked answered eagerly and proudly. Not sure why some are afraid to ask, they shouldn't be.

    I had heard this happens sometimes, but glad your experience is positive. I can imagine they not wanting to answer if they were Novus Ordo ordained, and knowing many of the faithful doubt those ordinations.
