Bp. Mayer was always faithful to Tradition, and he was excommunicated for his part in the consecration of the Four Bishops. He never tried to reconcile with Rome. He was sincere, and that's why his assessment of TFP is credible. And he had first-hand dealings with them.
It seems that the threads promoting TFP/TIA/Guimaraes/Plinio don't get a lot of support, fortunately. I think that this is due to your efforts, and also the lack of maturity in the responses of the followers of TFP/TIA show that they are irresponsible.
Also, it's a problem that TIA in particular has always had issues with Archbishop Lefebvre. They pretend that they loathe the SSPX due to the new direction of the SSPX, but really, they've always loathed the SSPX, even when +ABL was alive.
