"Excommunicated" right away, but a priest who molests children is still in good standing.

I did not go there today, but after talking to a friend who goes to my SSPX, he said that it seemed to him that the chapel was a bit more crowded than usual for today's high Mass.

I believe that this is a last wakeup call from God where you have to stop sitting on the fence and decide once and for all, using your faith, whether or not Prevost speak with the Voice of the Shepherd.  God makes it abundantly clear when they permit, condone, endorse, and promote all manner of heresy, blasphemy, and perversion ... so that there will no longer be any excuse when He goes to separate the wheat from the chaff.

"All clerics must wear a decent ecclesiastical habit" (Canon 136, New Code 284); "They shall not wear a ring" "they shall not engage in indecorous arts" (Canon 138, NC 285)

"Where there is danger of scandal, especially in public theaters, clerics should avoid shows, dances, and spectacles." (Canon 140 *law removed from the NC)

These Novus Ordo clowns could care less about any of the laws.

No ... and these latest events have completely unmasked the infiltrators, and yet ... Father Pagliarani STILL doesn't see it.

So, the narrative had always been that the Conciliar era was that of a "kinder, gentler" Church that was no longer interested in condemning, but rather, only in welcoming and in dialogue with "separated brethren".  As a result, then, for decades now, they've understated the authority of the papacy in talks with the Orthodox, and with Prots, etc.

Then, this heavy-handed excommunication, even of the priests and faithful, not to mention Bergs' earlier suppression of the immemorial Tridentine Mass ... it thoroughly undermines that entire message, and ... proves that it was disingenuous the entire time, and just a ruse calculated to undermine the Church's prerogatives as THE One True Church founded by Christ, while trying to put an acceptable veneer on it.  Orthodox are now like "Well, thanks, but we now see that you were disingenuous and simply 'full of it' in our mutual talks, and you didn't mean all this stuff about how the Pope would never unilaterally just stomp down on various parts of the Church.

What were the infiltrators going to do? ... just openly admit that, "yeah, we need to destroy the Church's claims to be the One True Church, and also to get rid of the Mass, since we despise it"?  Obviously they couldn't do that and not be exposed immediately.  So they pretended it was all about welcoming non-Catholics, when it was really about wrecking the Church so there's nothing left for these non-Catholics to convert back to, and then making the Mass into something more palatable and less offensive to "separated brethren".

So, these events have ripped the mask off, since they wouldn't gut 60+ years of actual sincere and honest attempts at reconciling with non-Catholics over this little splinter group ... if that was in fact their true agenda, and  not the ruse we know it to be.
