What is the relationship between the SSPX Dominicans (the Dominicans of the FRATERNITÉ SAINT-VINCENT-FERRIER (http://www.chemere.org/)) and "mainstream Dominicans" (most of whom are Novus Ordites and do not say the Dominican Rite)?
Do the SSPX Dominicans recognize the "mainstream Dominicans"' master general? Do they abide by the current Dominican constitution?
I would say not, because they say "La Fraternité" "est une communauté religieuse d’inspiration dominicaine." Can they canonically call themselves Dominican if they're only "d’inspiration dominicaine"?

First of all, the SSPX Dominican community is called the Fraternity of St. Dominic.
The Fraternity of St. Vincent Ferrer has been an Ecclesia Dei community since 1988.
Secondly, in short they don't recognize the the Master General as when they make profession they don't even name him in the Profession. Nor do the Tertiaries (just check their handbook) and I'd safely assume the Nuns.
They follow their own Constitutions, based on the pre-Vatican II Constitutions and customs of the Order.

The Fraternity of Saint Vincent Ferrer is a Traditional Roman Catholic (Dominican Rite) fraternity in full communion with the Holy See.
The Fraternity was founded in 1979 by Louis-Marie de Blignières and was initially sedeprivationist, but later reconciled with the Holy See and became a religious institute of pontifical right on October 28, 1988. It is not a part of the Order of Preachers, though attempts to become such. The Fraternity's priests use the traditional Dominican Rite (one of the Latin liturgical rites different from Roman, or Tridentine) for saying Mass and the Hours of the Divine Office.
The seat of the Fraternity is the monastery of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Chémeré-le-Roi, a village in north-west France between Laval and Le Mans.

Where can I find their handbook? I would like to join their Third Order Dominicans (T.O.P.). thanks) and I'd safely assume the Nuns.

That probably is one reason why they're actually Thomists.

I do not understand the Domincans of Avrillé at all. Several years ago when our parish had a split...our third order Dominicans had a severe problem. One of the members daughter saw something erroneous on the internet that caused scandal and this member started going to the indult and notified the Dominicans in France at Avrillé. The remaining three of us told to quit going to Saint Michael's in DePere or face expulsion. We all wrote letters and never got answers. The choice that was suggested was to go to the indult instead.... This confuses me....To date two of the members still go to Saint Michael's (now Xspx) and I (still looking for a resistance chapel) are not allowed to be associated with Avrillé.
