  • Regarding providing Requiem Mass for a cremated parishioner of a SSPX chapel, have they allowed a public Requiem Mass in the past? Under what conditions would this be allowed or denied? I found multiple SSPX references that say that they hold a strict traditional view and mentioned that laymen should avoid such services that related to someone that is/will be cremated. Does the SSPX still hold to this conviction?
