Who do you think will emerge from the chapter as new Superior General?

Bp. Fellay.

The track favorite is Argentinian, Fr. David Pagliarini at 3-5 odds.

Neo-trad bookies think he's got the "right stuff" to be palatable to both Menzingen and newChurch.

Fluent in "double-speak" with superior sycophantic skills... why he even looks like Bp. Fellay!

A very "dark horse" going-out at 45-1 is Fr. Francois Laisney

This trooper has been carrying Bp. Fellay's water for decades.

Blasting any and all Fellay critics, writing interpretive neo-theologies and jumping higher than most of his fratres, Fr. Laisney is a Menzingen "inner-circle" guy.

His main drawbacks seem to be his excessive "Frenchness" and loose use of facts, straining his media credibility.

Holding fast at 14-1 odds is the German "iron horse", Fr. Niklaus Pfluger

With all the key connections, Fr. Pfluger is definitely part of the "Menzingen brotherhood" and a safe bet.

The Bookies have handicapped him for being an incredibly uninspiring speaker with an unappealing "old school" media image.
