Taking this up where another thread started ....
On the Feast of the Epiphany, Fr. Pfeiffer stated in a Q&A session after Mass that attendance at our local SSPX chapel would constitute a "danger to the Faith".
This was after those in attendance verified statements made by both the pastor and the senior priest (see other threads here on CI) at this parish.
FACT: The pastor taught from the pulpit (PUBLICLY) that we should allow our children to be tempted, even in grave matters/grave sin to help "build up their virtue". Taking this to it's logical conclusion, shouldn't fathers be taking their sons to the local strip joint to "build up their virtue"??????
This is directly contrary to the Church's teaching that we are to avoid the occasions of sin/temptation and can NEVER, under ANY circuмstances, allow or LEAD our children into such circuмstances. IF God allows us or our children to fall into such in a manner beyond our control, that is one thing, and He will always provide the graces to resist.
FACT: The senior priest of this parish stated PUBLICLY from the pulpit, with the permission of the pastor, that the lay people must practice what amounts to (and is in direct contradiction to Church teaching) blind obedience to the Superior General of the SSPX (Bishop Fellay), a priest and sacramental bishop of a expired pious union of priests who are all suspended a divinis and who exercises no legitimate ministry in the Church.
These facts and others show why attending this chapel is a danger to the Faith.
