What is a Francis special edition?

I'm guessing USA Today has some special pull-out section (or maybe a whole paper JUST on Francis) about Francis and his visit to the US.   :barf:
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

That's what it sounds like and I'm very interested to hear what it says.

  • basically an out of context quote from Archbishop L. on how good christian families are.

keep on using what you have learned to form good christian families, something like that next to BRAND SSPX + visit sspx/families

now why run that ad when we know the whole sodomite agenda is on tap for the Philly visit? what kind of family are the sspx talking about in this context?

 For Heaven's sake! If there is such an ad, what kind of families do the Society always encourage? Big families, fathers who practice their Faith and lead in spiritual matters, mothers who take good care of home, husband and children and lead them to "all that is good" and children who are obedient to parents, respectful to teachers and families who try their best to love God and save their souls. Same kind of families the Church has always tried to form.

No, no one saw it, except you apparently, and for whatever reason, you seem to want to keep it to yourself.

    Dumb thread.

1- i happened upon it at someones house

2- i can not reproduce it because i do not possess it

3- i paraphrased it as best as i remember it

4- it is odd that the SSPX would run an ad in a secular publication that was running ads for Sodomy.

5-the ad as i said did not mention:

    A- the SSPX is traditional

B-the SSPX is in anyway different than the other groups running ads

C-the SSPX is opposed to the agenda on display (which Francis will attend) at the whole Philly Family thing which as i pointed out has a sodomite speaker

D-which gives the impression that they are ok with what is going on

6-spend the $5 yourself because i am not going to just so i can scan a BS ad from the Brand, just go to the Gas station, supermarket etc and look at it.

7- i asked if anyone saw it, not hey i am posting it. if you are not interested you wasted a lot of time posting for no reason.

8- P.S. thank you for calling my first topic dumb

you or i might guess that but when it is in a paper that is carrying an ad for a sodomite group. when the meeting in PA has sodomite overtones you dont get a pass. most people have no idea about the SSPX. tell me that no one at BRAND SSPX  had any idea that they should ask or think about who else would be running ads.

  • From the SSPX Website:

Pope Francis is currently visiting the United States, and as a welcome to the Holy Father, the Society of St. Pius X took out an ad in USA Today's special Papal Visit edition which had this message for all readers:

    Quote
We support and defend Catholic Families: Children are the hope and future of the Church!

Following this firm statement was this encouraging quote from Archbishop Lefebvre:

    Quote
Christian families, you represent the Church, be convinced of it. Your families contain a wellspring of supernatural faith, of graces, of blessings of God, which is absolutely evident. So it is a great hope; I would even say it is the only hope; I see no other.

It is therefore you, dear Christian parents, who are truly the wellspring of the Church, and we congratulate you. Continue, for pity's sake, continue. Take it to heart to give your children the profoundly Christian formation which you yourselves received." (Confirmation sermon given at Econe on May 26, 1985)

The advertisement also gave a webpage link that features various articles about the family: www.sspx.org/family.

Could have been an ad from anyone or any NO organization for that matter, as confederate catholic said.
