Bishop Stobnicki - 5th sunday after Pentecost

AI translation and audio

Dear faithful, the Lord Jesus addresses words of warning to us today. Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees,
you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

My dear ones, we humans have a tendency to think very highly of ourselves. We are very quick to pretend that everything in our lives is in
order, that all is well. So often we live under the mistaken belief that, although the words, guidance, admonitions, and warnings of the
Lord Jesus, which we find in the Gospel, are most beautiful and most righteous, they certainly do not apply to us. The Lord Jesus is always
speaking about someone, but not about me. This, my dear friends, is nothing other than an expression of pride, which lives within us all the
time and is doing quite well.

And yet we must realize that one would have to be completely blind not to see that there are so few souls in our time who would zealously
cooperate with God's grace, who would strive every day to fulfill Christ's commandment of love every day. You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. There are so few souls today who would walk the
path of self-denial, the path of sacrifice, whose end is the indescribable splendor of the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven. There are so few
souls today who are humble, who are patient, who are helpful, who are understanding.

And yet there are so many false Catholics among us today, so many Pharisees, who know God's law but deliberately pay it no mind, or who
distort, falsify, thereby creating a new post-conciliar version of so-called Catholicism.

So often, my dear friends, we realize what contemporary so-called Catholics have done to Christ's Church, to the teachings of the Lord
Jesus. We see, my dear friends, how God's commandments are being replaced by so-called commandments of the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. We see how the
most holy sacrifice of the Holy Mass is being replaced by a Judaized and Protestantized rite called "novus ordo," the new order of the Mass.
We see, my dear friends, how the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church founded by our Redeemer is being replaced by an ecuмenical,
liberal, modernist anti-Church—the result of the Second Vatican Council—and we see, my dear friends, the fruits of this new religion, which
are the crowds of people who claim to be—and consider themselves to be—Catholics, and good Catholics at that, yet who in reality are walking
a path leading straight into the fires of hell.

My friends, the world has been turned upside down. And this is because the vast majority of people have simply stopped fulfilling
their duties in life. Parents no longer raise their children, teachers no longer teach, doctors no longer heal, police officers no longer
protect, and priests have ceased to be servants of the true God.

And one word springs to mind that could describe the reality around us. Pathology. One great pathology, which, however, did not arise out of
nowhere. This pathological state of our society is nothing other than the fruit of rebellion, a revolt against the Lord God. This
rebellion, which began on a large scale in Europe with the rise of the arch-heretic Martin Luther. A revolution against the Church of Christ
Church, against Christ the King, which in the centuries that followed took hold of the minds and hearts of millions, tens of millions of
Catholics throughout the world, who lost their Catholic faith and replaced Catholicism with liberalism, Protestantism, modernism.

And we see, my dear friends, how today, in the name of the Council's openness to the world, in the name of a new, post-conciliar,
ecuмenical, liberal pseudo-religion the remnants of Christian civilization are being buried so that upon its grave, upon the grave of
Christianity, the demonic nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr might triumph.

The goal of this demonic nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr is nothing other than the glorification of man. Man stands at the center of the new, false,
post-Vatican II religion, and it is man who is to be glorified. It is to man that we must pay homage. And recently, the Roman Lenon was
asked about the planned consecrations in the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X, and he spoke words through which he expressed this
revolutionary idea of his. We must move forward. The question is: in which direction? Where is this "forward"? What are you aiming for?

They are heading, my dear friends, in the direction already charted by the Vatican Anti-Council—toward the dethronement of Jesus Christ and
the glorification of man, and thus ultimately the glorification of the devil. And note that even the conciliar constitution Gaudium Spes
contains shocking words that summarize the program of the post-conciliar anti-Church. This agenda, which today is being consistently
implemented by Rome. All things that are on earth, the Second Vatican Anti-Council teaches us, must be directed toward man, who is their
  center and summit.

Dear faithful, the great Spanish queen Isabella the Catholic once commissioned a painting that depicted a priest celebrating Holy Mass, a
woman giving birth, and a criminal being hanged. One might say that everything was in its proper place. This painting expressed God's order
in this world. And the source  of the drama and problems of the modern world is the rejection of this divine order. It is a trampling
of God's will. Where there is no divine order, satanic chaos must inevitably arise.

The source of the misery of modern people is that they refuse to acknowledge their complete dependence on the cross of Christ, which is a
stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles. Man's separation from his Creator must lead to degeneration, and the greater it
is, the more admiration it arouses, the greater the praise from the satanic world.

Dear faithful, and that is precisely why we see this growing pathology among us. We see priests, traitors, who have abandoned God's altars,
who are building a religion of man today. Today we see women who hate motherhood. We see unpunished criminals, who laugh in the faces of
their victims instead of hanging from the gallows.

If it seems to you that for the Lord God it does not matter how people live, because after all, in His mercy He must save everyone, then
recall the warning of Saint Paul the Apostle. God will not allow Himself to be mocked, and what a person sows, that he will also reap.
Whoever sows in the flesh will reap destruction as the harvest of the flesh. Whoever sows in the Spirit will reap eternal life as the
harvest of the Spirit. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for when the time comes, we will reap a harvest, provided we do not give up.
Therefore, while we still have time, let us do good to all, and especially to our brothers and sisters in the faith.

Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. Praised be Jesus Christ.
