  • I have been informed of an effort to create a Spiritual Bouquet for Bishop Williamson --

    http://www.espiritualbouquets.com/ViewBouquet.aspx?BouquetID=5e9bd7f9-8bff-4137-8bc0-ea17284d7f8a

There is another link which allows you to contribute, but the creator of the Bouquet is concerned about malicious users messing it up. So you'll have to get the link another way (by PM?)

I will attach it as an image -- guests can't view attachments.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the link!

I went to a NovusOrdo "Rosary" for a my friend's mother the day
before her funeral, and there were 200 people who showed up.
But the family didn't nave a Rosary, they had a "decade ceremony"
instead.  The "permanent deacon" led the Resurrection decade. He
started with the Credo, Pater Noster, 3 Aves and Gloria Patri (in
English), then said "The Mystery of the Resurrection ," followed by
a Pater Noster, 10 Aves, and a Gloria Patri.  Then he said the
Fatima Decade Prayer ("Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins..."), and
THAT WAS IT.  He just stopped!  It was as if there was some kind of
problem suddenly.  It left us hanging, like we were just getting into
    it and then it's OVER.

Afterward, I spoke to him and asked him if he was aware that there
was no Rosary indulgence for everyone praying the Decade of the
Resurrection.  He said, "Oh, no!  I didn't know that."

Then I told him that if everyone there had prayed a 5-decade Rosary
(which would have taken 20 minutes, but their "Decade Ceremony"
took a half hour!), it could have been 200 people praying the Rosary
together, which would not just be 200 Rosary indulgences, but under
the normal conditions it could have been 200^2, or 40,000 Rosary
indulgences, because each person gets the graces of the whole
group.  So my friend's mother received the grace of no Rosaries
being prayed when she could have received the graces of 40,000
    Rosaries being prayed.

He said, "Oh, no.  I'll have to tell the pastor about this."  You can
just imagine what the 'pastor' had to say about it, if anything.

The point is, a "permanent Deacon" was ignorant of Rosary
indulgence rules and Church doctrine, and had to be instructed by
    a 'mere' layman.

The church of  strikes again.

I suppose it really comes down to grace.
I was thinking about what could be going on theologically within seminaries and Catholic colleges these days  and was wondering about the difference between Michael Voris and Card Dolan (Dolan had just done something silly so I looked up his CV and noticed that he has a Sacred Theology Licentiate (STL)). Voris has an Sacred Theology Baccalaureate (STB) while Card. Dolan has an STL. The degrees are  33 years apart (Dolan 1976 vs Voris 2009). Theoretically Dolan should have still had access to solid Thomistic teachers while you would think by 2009 the Pontifical universities would be 110% raving Modernist. Yet look at the difference between the two.

Just went to the site, but did not find it very intuitive..........is it just me?

There were numbers already filled in by some of the items, like it does not auto-clear after each use. Also didn't see any kind of "submit" button, unless it appears after you drag roses around.

Can you please clarify with some instructions. Thanks in advance.

Also, is this the same bouquet that was circulating at the 25th Anniversary gathering in Vienna at the end of June, or is it something new?

  • I think it is a good idea. I think that Bp. Williamson could do with our prayers and not just our words.

I just read on IA that now, even Fr. Pfeiffer has some negative words to say about him.

    See: http://cathinfo-warning-pornography!/Ignis_Ardens/index.php?showtopic=12880

He seems to be getting it from all sides. Either way let us keep him in our prayers.

  •   :dancing-banana: :incense:
I'm all for letting Bp. W. know he is being prayed for, but there must be a more user friendly way to do it!  I could not get anything to work on the site.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • It looks as if it's been ended or is no longer working. There used to be a list of prayers, etc. on the right-hand side of the screen and you clicked on something and dragged it over to the list on the left and the number went up, but that's disappeared. A pity.
