The entrance signs to Saint Mary's Academy and College no longer have the words Society of Pius X any longer. Perhaps a way so as not to offend Rome when they make the final move back.

They must be going back to "FRATERNITY OF THE APOSTLES OF JESUS AND MARY"in which name they were approved in Argentina.

No. Really, it's not.

For DECADES they proudly advertised the plain truth, the fact that they were part of the SSPX. The Academy is not just supervised by the SSPX, it's as part of that group as any chapel or priory. All the priests, laymen, and pretty much all the students are part of the SSPX.

In principle, this is not true. A "third order" cannot exist without a first order. The SSPX is not an order at all, they are a sodality of priests (the "Children of Mary" is also a sodality). There is NOTHING traditional about the SSPX making up a third order. It was a novelty from the start. There are other novel things they have produced.
