Next week at my Chapel after Mass we are having a Christmas party so people will be bringing food and drink to the chapel. And they are also showing the new docuмentary about Archbishop Lefebvre if anyone is interested. They will be asking for a five dollar donation for those who watch the docuмentary. The Chapel is St. Christopher's Mission in New York City. You can find the address on the SSPX USA website. If anyone here is interested in coming to our party or seeing the new docuмentary the Mass starts at 1:30 and the party and showing of the docuмentary will be after the Mass.

Yes, we are having Mass on that day. It will be at 11:00 AM.

By "next week" are you talking about Sunday, January 5th, 2014?

AKA "Most Holy Name of Jesus Sunday with Commemoration of St. Telesphorus, Pope and Martyr" (But might be called something else depending on which version of the 'calendar' you're using ― Feast of the Circuмcision, Second Sunday after Christmas, or Sunday after the Mother of God, or Vigil of Epiphany, or Sunday before Epiphany, or Sunday between the Circuмcision and Epiphany, etc.)

The Feast of the Circuмcision ought to be Wednesday, Jan. 1st, 2014.

The NovusOrdo calls it the Mother of God, but many dioceses have moved that to Sunday Jan. 5th. I haven't heard of any Traditional chapels moving the Circuмcision to Sunday the 5th, though. Until now, that is.

It seems from your post that you misunderstood me and think that my chapel is celebrating the feast of the circuмcision on Sunday. We are not. There is a Mass on New Years for the feast of the circuмcision and another Mass on Sunday after which they will have a party and the showing of the docuмentary. I just wanted to make that clear. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my posts. I apologize.

Sorry for the confusion. There is so much ambiguity running around lately that it's hard to keep up with which version you're looking at. If the OP had had the date, Sunday, Jan. 5th, 2014, that would have settled it.

Congratulations on getting the movie about ABL! I'm hoping to see it soon. But 3,000 miles is a bit challenging right now.

I have to apologize, though it is not my doing, because despite what they announced last Sunday, they did not show the docuмentary at my chapel today, January 5th. I did not learn why they did not show it or if they will be showing it sometime in the future. If anyone came expecting to see the docuмentary and was disappointed, I am sorry (though I don't think anyone did because I did not see any new faces).
