You know I love Bishop Zendejas because he said my first SSPX Mass. I still remember the highlight of the sermon about a general during the Spanish cινιℓ ωαr. He was defending the city and he got a call on the phone from the Communists and they told him that his son was held captive and that if he did not surrender the city they would kill his son. And the general talked to his son on the phone and he said: My son, be not afraid, for it is an honor to give up ones life for our God. Then, "Bang!" And the city was saved and when Generalissimo Franco met the general he thanked him and cried tears of gratitude for his sacrifice. Forgive me for my errors as this sermon was eleven years ago and I did not look up the details of the story which is no doubt famous, but it is true, even if the facts are in error.
