This is truly sickening! Does the new Rector of St. Mary's even have a clue as to how sinful it is to publicly display this calumnious docuмent? May our Good God help him ....
-
Good post.
Bad news.
As Fr. Chazal said, "War On." He's being punished for NOT being "silent."
Nine Ways of Being Accessory to Another's Sin
1. By Counsel, 2. By Command, 3. By Consent, 4. By provocation, 5. By praise or flattery, 6. By concealment, 7. By partaking, 8. By silence, 9. By defense of the ill done.
To avoid punishment, he would have to sin.
But he would have to sin just in the "right" way, to please Fr. Couture, because if
he were to sin in a way that does NOT please Fr. Couture, he would be punished
for that as well. It's like a fraternity game. The senior members hand down
ridiculous demands and the pleebs have to perform in just the "right" way or else
they get punished with some stupid manner of humiliation.

Someone should tell him to read CathInfo, so he can learn about how to be a good
Rector. Obviously, they didn't train him for the job very well. Poor man.
-
Unbelievable.
The Little Pebble. Seriously, I thought it would blow over and become something that people would laugh about.
Thanks for the docuмentation,Lepanto- otherwise I would have doubted.

Fr. Ronstadt, Fr. Coiffeur and the new Rector are the organ grinder's monkeys.
They have been trained to do one thing... and they are certainly not in their positions to think.

Who is the new Rector?

In case anyone is coming on to this thread without prior knowledge, Fr. Couture's
letter is scandalous because it is literally libel. He could be sued for writing it. He
has publicly published a calumny against the reputation of two holy priests, and
the OP shows that this black mark on Holy Mother Church is on public display in
a wall case in a church in St. Mary's Kansas.
The letter comes from the Philippines, where Fr. Couture is District Superior, and
where he has forbidden Frs. Chazal and Pfeiffer from saying Mass in SSPX chapels.
So Fr. Chazal has now said Mass on the street next to one of the chapels. Here is
another thread describing that:
Fr. Pfeiffer's sermons - The new place to listen to them

Contains this:
Fr Chazal Sept 16 Manila Street Mass video 1

There is another thread where Matthew explains the reason the letter is calumny:
http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php?a=topic&t=20485&min=15&num=1
These 2 posts say Fr. Pfeiffer also said Mass on the street 9-16-2012:

Sienna629: "Who is the new Rector?"
The new Rector is apparently Fr. Gerard Beck

What the heck is a little pebble?
-
It is an entirely false "locution." It's absolute bologna.
-
Sienna629: "Who is the new Rector?"
The new Rector is Fr. Gerard Beck
He was Father Rostand's first assistant after first being the bursar, so I'm not surprised about his stand supporting +Fellay, but I am disappointed that he would stoop so low as to display Fr. Couture's letter in the front vestibule. He was the pastor at the chapel I attend between the years 2003 and 2008. So that makes me even more disappointed still. Indeed, Neil, a "poor man".

Fr. Beck also used to be in charge of the SSPX schools.
He was my pastor, too, for a while. I was shocked to find it was he who had posted the letter. I thought he was above propagating slander.
May God have mercy on his soul.

Sorry if I missed it, but do we actually have knowledge that he was directly involved with the posting of this docuмent? St. Mary's is a big place and I'm sure the person in charge can't directly oversee everything.
Whether the conclusions reached are correct or incorrect, I'm seeing here lately a lot of drawing conclusions that are merely speculation and those suddenly becoming fact a few posts later.

True enough, said, but Father Beck always told us that nothing could be posted in the vestibule without him first approving it. So if he is unaware of it, hopefully, someone will notify him of it, and he will take it down immediately and publicly apologize.

It was like when a notice appeasing International Jewry appeared in SSPX chapels and on the Irish District website. Somebody has to 'approve' these silly notices being placed on the noticeboards. I can't see them apologizing to Fr Chazal. I wouldn't be naive to believe it was placed without the knowledge or authority. Let us not make excuses for these pro-agreement priests. They are trying everything to get their agreement with Rome.
But to answer the thread about being 'shocked'. I'm not shocked at all.
-
you couldnt post a stamp in irish district chapels now,,,,,, :fryingpan:

I also had Fr. Beck for a pastor for many years and he definitely would not have allowed anything to be posted that he didn’t personally okay. I’m wondering, however, if he knows who “little pebble” is and the implications involved.

Look at the approval initials on the bottom right of the last pic.
Thank you, LA. I hadn't noticed that!

The false mytic tripe of Little Pebble has been circulating in the N. American Novus Ordo chapels for decades.
Typically, the devout Novus Ordo faithful circulate it,
It follows a similar distribution path as the Medjagore lies.
Its just another sign of the Novus Ordo-dization of the SSPX.
Poor Father Beck. He must be "green" behind the ears.

Is it true about sspx doing oscar wilde plays???
-
The sspx has been infiltrated by the devil.
Our government is trying to remove God from our Country...the devil is within our government too.
Many wolves in sheeps clothing...false teachers...
-
Is it true about sspx doing oscar wilde plays???
Yes. In SSPX schools here in Europe for example.
-
Is it true about sspx doing oscar wilde plays???
... and I think some time ago Telesphorus mentioned the SSPX doing Oscar Wilde plays in USA.

No, it wasn't me, but yes, the "pop trads" go along with the sort of people who try to represent Oscar Wilde as someone whose writings Catholics should associate with themselves.
It's really pitiful.
-
"pop traditionalism" is very light on any serious application of Catholic morality.
Lots of field trips of various kinds, music by singers like "Taylor Swift" or so-called "Irish music" and lots of drinking.
It's a lot like the spirit of "World Youth Day"
-
Is it true about sspx doing oscar wilde plays???
Yes—and complaints were shrugged off... "Fr. Beck cleared it.... Catholics have always read pagan authors... He converted on his death bed...." As if we "trads" have run out of Catholic literature so that we need to swim around in the cess pool hoping to find a morsel among the turds.
Not substantially a different approach from discounting the Zionist Krah infiltration with "just some pictures of wedding fun."
It seems that older laity have more sensus catholicus than easily-deceived and younger selected-for-false-obedience SSPX priests.

Here we go with Father Beck again.
Why don't they try some Shakespeare? Maybe because he wouldn't understand it?
:laugh1:
-
does sspx have green scapular campaign going on ?
The ones sponsoring s.hould wear them too. they'll need it when they merge to the great apostacy of NO>
(More sɛҳuąƖ abuse by NO clergy law suits in Philadelphia just now.. I'm listening to local news as I type.)

Freemasons have developed very effective methods of selecting those who are
well-disposed for deception and cooperation with false obedience.

  :pray:Maybe we need to pray about this
Well, you're saying this a zillion times on virtually every thread here on Cathinfo, even on very old ones. And it's usually always the same, usually not even understandable what your "this" and "you" is in "pray about this" and "pray for you", etc etc. Totally pointless. As PAT said: As Catholics we pray regularly, so why do you imply we wouldn't?
Or maybe you're just a troll using a pray-camouflage?
Then we really need to pray about this...

Shakespeare's Henry V
St. Crispin's Day Speech
"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers...."

Now this is a play fit for a Traditional Catholic Academy.
Viva la resistance!

Thank you for that link, Magdalena! (Tis one of the best movies ever made, IMHO.)
The SSPX compromising priests, especially the superiors among them, should be mandated to view this - maybe they'll relocate their spines ...

My pleasure, Domitilla. That's why I posted it.
"maybe they'll relocate their spines..." Now that's funny!
