It is an entirely false "locution." It's absolute bologna.

The new Rector is Fr. Gerard Beck

He was Father Rostand's first assistant after first being the bursar, so I'm not surprised about his stand supporting +Fellay, but I am disappointed that he would stoop so low as to display Fr. Couture's letter in the front vestibule.  He was the pastor at the chapel I attend between the years 2003 and 2008.   So that makes me even more disappointed still.  Indeed, Neil, a "poor man".

Fr. Beck also used to be in charge of the SSPX schools.

He was my pastor, too, for a while.  I was shocked to find it was he who had posted the letter.  I thought he was above propagating slander.

May God have mercy on his soul.

Sorry if I missed it, but do we actually have knowledge that he was directly involved with the posting of this docuмent? St. Mary's is a big place and I'm sure the person in charge can't directly oversee everything.

Whether the conclusions reached are correct or incorrect, I'm seeing here lately a lot of drawing conclusions that are merely speculation and those suddenly becoming fact a few posts later.

True enough, said, but Father Beck always told us that nothing could be posted in the vestibule without him first approving it.  So if he is unaware of it, hopefully, someone will notify him of it, and he will take it down immediately and publicly apologize.
