    Dear parishioners,

I am sending you a link to an interview aired this week on a program called "Conflict Zones". I have seen this posted on CathInfo and watched it yesterday.

If you watch it, you will feel embarrassed watching Bishop Fellay being cornered by an aggressive reporter about "hot" issues (Jєωs, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs, Women, Obedience to Pope...). Two or three times he really looked like a schoolboy being scolded by a school principal. I feeled ashamed for him. And this is not counting the times when his answers were really bad, trying to justify himself with the wrong arguments ("I didn't express myself clearly enough", "I do not think like this today"...).

Clearly, the reporter was of bad faith and tried his best to shame Bishop Fellay. He succeeded. He even went so far as to ask Bishop Fellay: "What are your sins?". AND INSTEAD OF TELLING HIM WHERE THE DOOR WAS, HE MEEKLY ANSWERED AND ENUMERATED TWO OR THREE OF HIS FAULTS!!!!!!.

    Man o man...

And this is the man, the leader of the Traditional Movement, whom his supporters say he is so prudent! How come this "so prudent" man accepted to be subjected to this? How has he not firstly gone on the Net to review past interviews this reporter has done on this program? How could he not foresee this would happen to him? And SSPX parishioners are being told they must trust Bishop Fellay, because "he is prudent and cannot lead us on a wrong path". So, why did he agree to submit to this?

There is only one answer possible: This was an obligatory "rite of passage" before Rome could approve the SSPX. In other words: Jєωιѕн organizations have put pressure on Rome, warning them that they would not allow such a recognition, unless the leader of the SSPX publicly denounces antisemitism and Bishop Williamson, and apologizes for not reacting quickly enough to stop him. (And maybe Maximilian Krah is the one who convinced Bishop Fellay to go through this.).

This is therefore just another example showing us how badly and madly Bishop Fellay wants an official recognition from Rome.

There are many other things to analyze in this interview, but I don't have the time to do it. But you can see for yourself...

    Here is the link:

    God bless,

    Fr. Girouard[/u]
