  • Someone sent this e-mail to me:

Please take the time (about 30 minutes) to listen to this wonderful sermon of Fr. Cyprian, Abbot of the Benedictines in Silver City, NM.  It is about the crisis in the Church given at St. Isidore’s Church in Denver, CO, on June 7, 2015.  It is everything that Archbishop Lefebvre always taught us about the new Mass, the new Sacraments, and true authority.  His explanations are thought provoking and inspiring for us.  It is obvious from this sermon that Fr. Cyprian will not be returning to Modernist Rome.

  • It is a good sermon.  I like his emphasis about st. joan of arc.  One thing that caught my attention is that he says or implies that the new sacrament of baptism is doubtful.  He says it around minute 15:00.

  • I totally agree. Fr. Cyprian must think this is the time (more to follow?). There is no doubt in my mind he will not go to Rome.  Shortly after this sermon came the statements by +Fellay on the new mass and the article from NON POSSUMUS translated by Michael Fuller.

  • It is heartening to hear this sermon. It would be a massive blow to the Church to lose the monastery to the conciliar apostates. I recall my visit to NM with a reverent fondness. I was not cut out for that kind of rugged existence, coming too late in life.

Fr Cyprian has an interesting cadence in his speech. Like powerful blows struck against heretics and apostates, all enemies of the Church. Reminds me in a good way of Captain Kirk (Shatner)
Da pacem Domine in diebus nostris
    Qui non est alius
    Qui pugnet pro nobis
    Nisi  tu Deus noster

  • This was posted a few days ago in this thread but it sort of got buried: Bishop Schneider - upbeat on SSPX reconciliation prospects

It was the first I was made aware of the sermon. I agree it is a great, strong sermon.  I took note mostly of his comments about St. Joan of Arc in saying the bishops that were judging her were not the Church and then he ties it into prelates today offering us an olive branch, a false peace saying the Church needs us, and which Church needs us? These men stand by while Tradition is martyred. These prelates should reach out to those that have been scandalized by the Conciliar church which is no Church at all, but an imposter Church. He calls the post conciliar popes "Puppet Papacies".

"Playback on other websites has been disabled by video owner."

These messages appear on the screen when I attempt to start playback.  When I click on the sentence above, "Watch this video on YouTube," I get a new tab and the video automatically begins to play.

Sermon on the crisis in the church given by Fr. Cyprian, OSB at St. Isidore's Church in Denver, CO on 6/7/15.

At minute 9 Fr. Cyprian says perhaps this is the abomination of desolation foretold in Scripture:  the newsacraments are void and empty, and there are no fruits of the newmass -- it is devoid and empty, sterile.

The newmass has no authority over the Traditional Mass.  (12)

    Joan of Arc (17:30 - 22:30)

This sermon was given on Sunday within the Octave of Corpus Christi (Thursday, June 4th, 2015), and the Mass was followed by a procession of the Eucharist -- one of very few such processions this year.  Before Vatican II most parishes all over the world had such Eucharistic processions on Corpus Christi or during the octave.  Some had a procession every day for 8 days.

(Not to change the subject, but the CMRI does not observe "all those octaves," because they got "too complicated" and besides, Pius XII, "the last real pope," had Annibale Bugnini do the dirty work of getting rid of them, so it must be a good idea.)
