To all those who love the truth, and want to possess the truth:
Just a gentle reminder, that you should try (as much as possible) to check things out for yourself. Especially on the Internet, when things are just a click away.
Sometimes, even people who mean well can distort the truth or even lie for what they think is a good cause. They might be letting anger get the better of them. They might lie about others, or at least give their "point of view" which doesn't always match up with objective reality. There are individuals whose point of view is so distorted that it borders on clinical insanity.
Forming the "big picture" and getting to the bottom of a situation is not always easy.
Yes, sometimes you can't even trust your eyes (in the case of photoshopped pictures) but usually you can. When you go to a forum and see things posted under someone's name, for example. You can trust that. My point is that it's much better to trust your own eyes than to trust an individual who might be honestly mistaken.
When it comes to the Internet, things that are just a click away, FOR HEAVENS SAKE don't be afraid to check it out for yourself, just to be sure. Don't trust people unless you are absolutely sure about them. That includes me.
Actually, the point of this thread is that EVEN WHEN YOU'RE A FAN of someone, trusting him for the most part, you might want to click that link, just in case that man you've followed for years is going off the deep end in this one case. It happens to the best of us, at least from time to time.
So when someone says, "That Jack the Trad's Blog - he's going to Hell. He's full of slander and gossip." You really should check it out for yourself, and not just take the person's word for it. You might honestly not care, or not have time. But really...it doesn't take long to Google "Jack the Trad's blog" and see for yourself.
Just think back to May 2012. The SSPX said this about CathInfo. What SHOULD people have done? They should have come here to check it out for themselves. They might have had their eyes opened.
How about that Puritan man who thinks God made a mistake attaching pleasure to sɛҳuąƖ activity? He had nothing nice to say about me or CathInfo. If you were a reader of his site, should you check out CathInfo for yourself, or just believe him because he has so many apparently "traditional" articles on his site?
I think we need to all start testing the spirits, and checking things out for ourselves. Truth would prevail, and lies would fail MUCH MORE OFTEN if we did!
