Seems like the church is wide upon for the diocesan fancy legal team. Keep the word Catholic off the title deeds to thwart any claim. And do not have any SSPX priest visit. They are now terribly suspect and it would be the thin edge of the wedge. Consider why Fr. Bolduc kept his distance from them.

The language in the trust makes Saint Michael's untouchable. There was an attempt by the diocese once before at the beginning of Saint Michael's to take it over. The pawn used was a Father Bujuarski (sp?) and once it was found out he was using the novus ordo canon of the Mass, and a subpoena was issued to the bishop, Fr. B was out of there within 24 hours. There's no way that the diocese can touch Saint Michaels, else they already would have done it. They already tried and failed once before, to get Mr. Beemster to sign over the property to Father B, so he could subsequently hand it over to the diocese.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

I would be very worried. Unless numerous individual parishioners have certified copies of the Trust's docuмents of incorporation along with a specified mechanism for redress, nothing is untouchable. Sometimes it can hinge on a single individual, the one who holds the seal.

  • Fortunately the one who holds that seal is Father Bolduc's brother. So no worries there. :)

  • Let us pray ardently to Our Lady for a new priest who will be cut from the  same cloth as Fr. Bolduc.  He was a great, great priest ...

Perhaps you are confusing Shame with her cousins, Modesty and Humility.

    Happens a lot.

Hectoring someone to hand over a church property doesn't seem modest or humble, but it does seem to be a bit shameless.

You made me giggle a little, Tele. "Hectoring."  :scratchchin: Nice choice of words.

    Not intentional.

I didn't figure it was, but that's what makes it even sillier.

No, you didn't call them thieves.  I did.
As former novus ordo, know first hand of theivery and deception.
But you are right...we must pray for their conversion but we have to stand firm when defending God and our faith.

sorry I meant vatican II....not sspx..

I apologize for not making myself clear.

for example, that independent abbey in Georgia was taken over by vatican II...

I heard other stories of novus ordo confiscating properties of independent chapel and of course I  know first hand of what has happened lcoally within vatican II diocese..

Also, there are some red flags that I'm trying to warn you of what has happened in the past.

Again, I apologize for not making myself clear.  Please forgive me.

May God bless you and keep you
