  • Pope Francis has given Pius X Society permission to hear confessions past the year of mercy. And Pope Francis wants him to build a seminary in Italy. I'm sure the teachers will be scrutinized for their orthodoxy. What a sad day for The Society as they slowly enter the jaws of a ravenous , modernist ,heretical and masonic counciliar church. Judas sold out 2000 yrs. ago,not someone i'd want to follow.

Pope to extend validity of confessions of SSPX priests beyond Year of Mercy

Bishop Bernard Fellay, superior general of the SSPX, celebrated the Mass
for Good Shepherd Sunday with his two Assistants General. A few days ...

  • And more than this:

    Quote
•Le pape a confirmé que la FSSPX était catholique à ses yeux
•Il a confirmé que jamais il ne la condamnerait.
•Il a confié vouloir étendre les facultés de la FSSPX, à commencer par le pouvoir de confesser de ses prêtres

"The Pope confirmed that the SSPX was Catholic in his eyes.

He confirmed that he would never condem them.

He said he wanted to extend the faculties of the SSPX, beginning with the priests' power to hear confessions."

  • This would mean faculties for confessions, marriages, preaching... They would have de facto canonical status.

  • The Pius X Society always had De Jure Law behind them. They were protected by Canon Law. ie; Crisis in THE CHURCH . Why does Bishop Fellay need to be told he's Catholic by Pope Francis. Pope Francis should be searching to find out if he himself is truly Catholic. At this point in time Pope Francis is acting like an anti-pope. Pope Francis told Bishop Fellay he would never condemn the Society. Can Bishop Fellay get that in writing ? Is that without strings attached ? I'LL play nice if you don't criticize the Vatican's policies etc. Pope Francis said he wanted to extend the faculties to hear confessions. They the faculties aren't needed in a crisis situation. So does this mean there is no crisis. If there is no crisis than everybody can now join the NOVUS ORDO  and move back to their respective states they left to find safe haven from the apostate novus ordo church. THE END !!!!

Consider even the Anti-popes were always Catholic, unlike Francis.

Since when does the Church that Jesus Christ founded, who is God, compromise and adapt to the world.  "My kingdom is not of this world"... please SSPX do not fall for this apostasy for the sake of human respect.
    Please pray for my soul.

  •  Tosatti: Why is this Pope Determined to Recognize the SSPX?

    From the Eponymous Flower

(Rome) Is Pope Francis soon set to take an extraordinary step in favor of the SSPX? "It is a common opinion in the Vatican, and particularly among those who are close to the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which is responsible for the Lefebvrian dossier that the Pope will soon perform an arbitrary and spectacular gesture towards the Society of St. Pius X," as the Vatican expert Marco Tosatti writes in his blog.

The long conversation between the Pope and the Superior General of the SSPX, Bishop Bernard Fellay, on April 1, was "certainly a sign in that direction."
This is the question hanging in the room, just why a Pope who "certainly has no sympathy for the Conservatives, and permits that the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate are put through the meat grinder for years because of the mere suspicion of, 'Lefebvrian tendencies', seems ready again to fully recognize the former schismatics. There are two possible answers in this issue," says Tosatti.

     The penchant for spectacular gestures

The first reason is the predisposition of character of the Pope, which is his desire and satisfaction of making some sensational gestures like the embrace with the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill I in Cuba. Gestures that neither John Paul II. nor Benedict XVI. were granted, his two direct predecessors whose pontificates he regards with some inner distance. In this case, both had endeavored with great dedication for it. Suitable areas for spectacular gestures include the SSPX.

The approach under John Paul II. culminated with the declared "excommunication" by Rome in the exact opposite direction. Benedict XVI. received Bishop Fellay soon after his election in audience, and thus laid the foundation for the talks not aborted since then. In 2009 he lifted the Decree of "Excommunication" and in May 2012, canonical recognition seemed virtually certain. But things turned out differently, and with the choice of the Argentine Pope every prospect seemed further away than ever.

The assessment that tradition is obsolete

The second reason is a strategic analysis of the Pope and thus the appearance, of how Pope Francis sees the traditionalists. Despite their considerable strength, ( "some say a million," said Tosatti) the pope does not consider them numerically dangerous. According to the logic that Francis expressed concern in February 2014 to the Czech bishops, he sees the interest in the traditional form of the Roman Rite as "just a fad". In his opinion, the views and positions, also the theology, of tradition is outdated. History will prove them wrong.

The Pope represents, according to this opinion, that self aware overconfidence in the victory of progressive thinking that thinks it is right is by definition. The Pope would be strengthened in this opinion by his observation that the influence of the traditionalists in the Church and the mass media seems low. Their recognition and regularization is therefore a cost-effective opportunity to prove his own generosity and fatherhood with a spectacular media-step. Closing a soon to be 30 year old wound would contribute to Francis' entry in Church history, even if in his view, it would only be the size of a footnote.

Consider even the Anti-popes were always Catholic, unlike Francis.

Since when does the Church that Jesus Christ founded, who is God, compromise and adapt to the world.  "My kingdom is not of this world"... please SSPX do not fall for this apostasy for the sake of human respect.

Meanwhile back here on planet earth Pope Paul VI was already acting entirely like a classic Anti-Pope back from 1963 onwards.  The good Pope Paul (?) acted very like the worst of the previous Anti-Popes, Anacletus II, but was at least still within the bounds of Catholic history and experience.  Cardinal Luciani, the future Pope John Paul I, actively led the opposition and after the death of Pope/Anti-Pope Paul VI was himself elected to the Papal throne.  Again, still very much within the parameters of our standard Roman Catholic history.  That might help to explain the behaviour of the faithful during the reign of Paul VI.  They had but to wait it out and Holy Church would right things once again as she had done time and again before.

It was the martyrdom of Pope John Paul I that actually sent our history altogether off the charts and into unknown waters.  Certainly the concern of Catholics then shown for the dignity and sovereignty of the Papacy was decidedly underwhelming.  Many who claimed to be much too loyal to the Papacy to oppose Modernism seemed not to care less about the integrity of the Papal person and office as embodied in our brave and glorious Martyr-Pope John Paul I.  Then Pope JP2 acted very like the first apostate Anti-Pope.  No Roman Catholic he.  Then Cardinal Ratzinger was the right-hand man of JP2 and Pope Francis is evidently nothing less than the False Prophet of the Apocalypse.  Does anyone have a better explanation for the on-going horrors currently unfolding in Rome?

Of course the Church that Our Lord Jesus Christ founded does not and never will compromise and adapt to the world.  Not ever!!!  By definition those who do so are far indeed from Holy Mother Church and form precisely the Anti-Church, the Great Apostasy, the Hounds of Hell on earth.  They sin against the Holy Ghost and shall not be forgiven.  At least their misfortune reflects well on those with enough of their wits about them to remain faithful to Our Divine Lord.

Now revolution, counter-revolution, cινιℓ ωαr, economic collapse, plutonium poisoning and natural disasters without parallel descend on the Western world.  If these are not the long foretold Days of Darkness, then what might be?  Evidently those in the SSPX eagerly scrambling aboard the rapidly sinking Titanic of the Novus Ordo have been struck with madness.  They would be much wiser to light their candles and, so to speak, remain indoors.

Whom the Gods would destroy they first make mad.

And Tosatti doesn't get the right answer, which is painfully obvious: To put the SSPX through the meat grinder too and get rid of it. Bishop Fellay is handing over the SSPX to the Conciliar Church. The ѕυιcιdє of tradition. Too obvious to say, really. If it was Benedict, he might have the delusion he was basically friendly, but no one can think that about Francis. Yet +Fellay does seem to think that.

    Hardly worth saying here...
