Note: In the interest of justice, it is important to keep the following in mind:

1) The content contained in the original post is not a conference given by Fr, Pfluger, but purports to be notes taken by one of the attendees of the conferences given by Fr. Pfluger;

2) That we do not know the identity of the person providing the material mitigates to a certain degree their credibility;

3) The entirety of the notes have yet to be translated into English (i.e., Notes from the final conference have not yet been published in English), which prevents reading the entire body of material in context;

4) I have no direct contact information for Fr. Pfluger, but sent an email inquiry to the general contact email address in Menzingen;

5) I do not know whether he will actually receive it, but I asked him whether he considers the notes purporting to have been taken from his conferences by one of the attendees to be substantially accurate, or if not, where he would make corrections;

6) He is entitled to the benefit of doubt (which certainly exists) and good reputation, per Catholic doctrine. Any commentary which precedes a response from Fr. Pfluger will be rash and negligent.

7) If Fr. Pfluger responds, I will post his response.

Let's make it very clear that it is the SSPX under Bishop Fellay that is dead. The SSPX founded by Archbishop Lefebvre is alive and well in the SSPX-Marian Corps and other Resistance priests faithful to the Archbishop.

I think we can reasonably speculate on the mentality of change and the inexorable liberal tendency without naming names and institutions. How one holds back the flood is to be acutely aware of patterns forming and to have escape routes before it is too late. Being eager to listen to Fr. P ....... or awaiting 'softer interpretations' may mean the flood has arrived. Are you a good swimmer?

I think the point is just that without any source or verifiable medium, it approaches imprudence to immediately assign the docuмents to a b or c. In other words, make sure the ammo shoots out of your gun before you buy a case to take to the range.
