  • This is reminiscent of 2012 when the SSPX was telling people to stay off the internet.  Now it is FSSP.

  • Every cult EVER discovered this, decades ago. You keep your members cut off from the world, from any source of information that could contradict Dear Leader, and you have peace! The Dear Leader is then the only source of information -- the only source of truth.

    Quote
For him the problem is "the Internet". According to his version, the concerns of his faithful grew "in proportion to the amount of time they spent on the internet reading articles and information on the subject!".

In the face of Traditionis Custodes, some men of his parish resolved during lent to cease all Internet activity and – miracle! - "they suddenly found a peace they hadn't had before!".

"If you just read what's being said on the internet, it's easy to get the false impression that the 'traditional Mass' is some kind of movement or crusade." But for Berg the Catholics are only "group made up of individuals or families who 'just' want to adore God and be transformed by his grace".

Yeah, can't have the Faithful getting informed!

This article did not put a link to the full interview.  I am sure they have taken parts from the interview to make their point.

I knew this man from 2002 to 2005.  He trys to be a solid Catholic in the crisis.  Just because some people have decided that the best option is not to jump ship and others decided they needed to jump ship per se, none of us have surety that we have made the correct decision.  We all have our parts to play and maybe God places different Catholics in different places for these times.  Since we don't have a Pope uniting us, we should not belittle the choices others have made.

I don't know why we don't talk about this, but I am sure that God has set up a counter army to all the crazy in the world caused by those who follow Satan and his minions, but unlike demons who are prideful and boisterous, God's army consists of Holy Catholics, who probably do not know exactly what there part is in this Spiritual War, but will be ready and able to do their part when God makes it clear.
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 "4 Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; 5 Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil;"
