If he truly felt strongly about structures he would have invited independent priests into the SSPX.
I actually did the contrary, even before 88... He even went to advise some priests (including the benedictine Dom Guillou) to join the SSPX...
So this is not a change dating from 88...
But this is not in discussion here: it's about ORDAINING, as stated in Fr Brocard's text...
He speaks of ordaining, I speak about ordinations, and you keep answering about episcopal consecrations, priests who are forces out of their structure....
What he did not do, which the SAJM is now doing is disassociating from independent priests. Extreme culty vibes.
We may be disappointed by SAJM, and rightly so, but it's at least inexact to say that SAJM is disassociating from priests just because they are independant, without anything else...
on the contrary, the SAJM is usually working with some "independant" priests, forced out the SSPX (for example, or their congregation): Fr Dominique Rousseau, Fr Bruno OSB in France, Fr Failer and Fuchs in Germany/Switzerland/Austria, Fr Calixto in Brazil, maybe still Fr Morel in US... just to give some examples ....
If they are disassociating from other priests, there might be other reasons (right or wrong, but others...)

By this stage he had wound down.
So you claimed he changed, but oh, wait... he did change, but he was too weak and old to say it or act according to his change...
You cannot claim he changed (and I would be ready to accept it) without providing evidence, not your gut feeling...

The Director's Word – Is SAJM abandoning the Resistance? – #05

Dear friends and benefactors,
Let us take a brief pause in our exposition on the mystery of the Church in order to answer a question that was put to us after our first statement (presentation of SAJM): Is SAJM leaving the Resistance?
This first text, written to introduce the SAJM seminar in Brazil to Brazilians, received a much wider dissemination outside of Brazil that I did not expect and was far from seeking. This compels me to publish this response in Portuguese, French, and English.
To answer that question, it would first be necessary to define what is commonly called Resistance.
Now, to our knowledge, no dogmatic letter for signature was presented to the priests so that they could officially become part of this movement. Nothing positive. The only thing that seems to be the common denominator is opposition to the SSPX since its attempt at "reconciliation" with conciliar Rome in 2012. Something negative; defined not by principles to be followed, but by opposition.
In the last seven years of my apostolate, I have traveled to many other countries besides France and have had the opportunity to meet or hear about priests who opposed, in 2012 (or later), this attempt at “reconciliation” by the SSPX, but then moved closer to sedevacantism, even going so far as to ask (some of them) to be ordained by sedevacantist bishops. And they continued to call themselves the Resistance , some going so far as to say or be called: the only true resistance .
So, if you ask me: do you distinguish yourself from those who resist ? My answer is clear: yes, absolutely, and as much as Archbishop Lefebvre showed us by example in his life.
Now, if you ask me if I wouldn't collaborate with priests who opposed joining the SSPX and who, because of that, suffered greatly, I will answer just as immediately and clearly that it would be an honor for me to collaborate in the apostolate with these dear confreres, models and guides in this battle, as long as they are faithful to the legacy that Archbishop Lefebvre left us.
The purpose of that presentation—which, I recall, was intended for Brazilians—was to prevent the seminar I was tasked with from being labeled a " Resistance seminar ," for the reasons explained above.
Monsignor Faure, superior of the SAJM, asked me to assume the direction of the seminary that Monsignor Thomas Aquinas entrusted to us. It is, therefore, a seminary of the SAJM, which is not defined by its opposition to the SSPX, but by its fidelity to Archbishop Lefebvre.
Hoping this brief message has cleared up any doubts, I wish everyone a blessed Holy Week and a holy Easter.
† P. Brocard

Let's call them "lefebvrists".  Just received their 2025 Newsletter..? Looks like it's growing.
And 2 Sundays ago Fr. Hewko repeated that he was of the 'resistance' of the popes Pius IX, Leo XIII, Pius X,  Benedict XV, Pius XI, and Pope Pius XII. Can anyone suggest / coin a term for that species of resistance?  PLP resistance...?
Kind of a dilemma, no?

I resist neoSSPX because hopefully, if the pressure grows directly against their dream of joining Novus Ordo Rome, they might throw the gear shifter in Reverse and  listen to +Lefebvre when the smoke disappears.
