Getting back to the original topic, which is about priests who are in danger of expulsion, I think we should try to keep track of these priests (and any others who later become known) and see if they are actually expelled over the next few weeks or months.

If most, or even many of them, find themselves banned from saying public Mass in SSPX chapels (even if not formally expelled), it will signal that Bishop Fellay is still on the path to reconciliation on Rome's terms and is (quietly) ridding the SSPX of those priests who have been or are likely to become troublemakers for him the next time this issue comes up.

I don't believe that this was merely a dry run orchestrated by Rome-Menzingen collusion to weed out those who would split the Society in some sort of reconciliation, but I don't necessarily deny that, once public opposition to the deal began to mount, a Rome-Menzingen accord was struck to make a face-saving retreat so that the SSPX could purge those who were sowing opposition to a reconciliation.

Thus, if Bishop Fellay announces another Rosary Crusade while quietly expelling these good priests (and, perhaps, at least one Bishop) and then another round of "discussions", I believe it is very likely that we could see the past couple of months playing out again next spring.  Only next time, there will be no voices inside the SSPX condemning a deal or raising the alarm.

Those of you who have the means to do so, please keep us informed through this summer and fall.  I still note that there have been no American priests on any of these lists.  Such a shame that the American SSPX has been so quick to fall into line behind Bishop Fellay's madness.

    A most excellent insight!!

Telesphorus,  "interdicts" were issued on a few faithful in this part of Asia District. One of the priests was invited to dinner by a faithful. When the host refused to support the priest's investigation of a fellow priest, the entire Mass Center was threatened with closure. Just think about it. You invite a priest to dinner and he ends up threatening to close your Mass Center as if it were your personal property!

A Novus Ordo priest friend of the Society told me that never in his 50 years plus as a diocesan priest has he come across this issue of interdicts. He said that even once, when an irate parishoner punched a priest, the diocese smoothened all ruffled feathers and crumpled egos without the need for censures.

Post-deal, the Vatican will pass around a lot of humble pie to the SSPX.

The "liberals" are ruthless persecutors, bishop Fellay and his ʝʊdɛօ-masonic associates intend to ruthlessly persecute Catholic tradition inside the SSPX and among the faithful of its chapels.

I received news about Fr. Cadazo's "status" :

Last Sunday, Fr. Wall, prior of North Mexico, said in his sermon that the faithful who assist to the Fr. Cardozo Mass, or if they talk to him, would be expelled from the SSPX.

He also said that Fr. Cardozo must apologise publicly with Bishop Fellay, otherwise he will be expelled on Tuesday, 12 June (i.e. yesterday; but I don't know yet what happened).

Fr. Wall also said that superiors can not allow the father to come to Mexico to agitate the faithful.

Maybe the superiors will have Madonna come to Mexico to agitate the faithful.

She did a pretty good job of that in Jakarta the other day --- oh, wait, those were
Mohammedan faithful :::: but isn't that okey-dokey with the new-and-improved
    ecuмenical approach?????????? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??

I shouldn't be making jokes. This is serious. But I'm pretty frustrated with this ****.

I have a few friends, priests in parts of the American district, and they're
curiously reticent. I do hope they can get private messages to each other
without being spied on. But I suspect all their correspondence is monitored.
It seems to me they are chomping at the bit, and awaiting the Angel's
Trumpet, so to speak. They are not bad priests, they simply know that they
have to be very scrupulous right now, IMHO.

Please pray for our priests. When you go to confession and the last thing the
priest says before you leave is to "Pray for me," that should tell you something.

    Isaias xxix.
9 Be astonished, and wander, waver, and stagger : be drunk, and not with wine : stagger, and not with drunkenness.

10 For the Lord hath mingled for you the spirit of a deep sleep, he will shut up your eyes, he will cover your prophets and princes, that see visions.

11 And the vision of all shall be unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which when they shall deliver to one that is learned, they shall say : Read this : and he shall answer : I cannot, for it is sealed.

12 And the book shall be given to one that knoweth no letters, and it shall be said to him : Read : and he shall answer : I know no letters.

13 And the Lord said : Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips glorify me, but their heart is far from me, and they have feared me with the commandment and doctrines of men :

14 Therefore behold I will proceed to cause an admiration in this people, by a great and wonderful miracle : for wisdom shall perish from their wise men, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

    Matt xii.
43 And when an unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through dry places seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith: I will return into my house from whence I came out. And coming he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then he goeth, and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there : and the last state of that man is made worse than the first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation.

    Matt xxiii.
13 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites : because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men, for you yourselves do not enter in : and those that are going in you suffer not to enter.

14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites : because you devour the houses of widows, praying long prayers. For this you shall receive the greater judgment.

15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites : you go about the sea and land  to make one proselyte : and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves...

27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites : because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men’s bones and of all filthiness.

28 So you also outwardly appear to men just : but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites : that build the sepulchres of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the just.

30 And say : if we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31 Wherefore you witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of them that killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up, then, the measure of your fathers.

33 You serpents, you generation of vipers, how will you flee from the judgment of hell?

34 Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, and wise men and scribes : and some of them you will put to death and crucify, and some you will scourge in your ѕуηαgσgυєs and persecute from city to city.

35 That upon you may come all the just blood that has been shed upon the earth,  from the blood of Abel the just, even unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom you killed between the temple and the altar.

36 Amen, I say to you, all these things shall come upon this generation.

37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered together thy children, as the hen doth gather her chickens under her wings, and thou wouldst not?

38 Behold, your house shall be left to you, desolate.

39 For I say to you, you shall not see me henceforth till you say : Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

  • When, or whether, our faithful priests and other three bishops are expelled, or not, they must hold together.  When the FSSP was formed back in 1988 it was forgivable because they had no precedent.  Those who are now pushing for a re-instatement with an unchanged conciliar Rome are not only not worthy of the name SSPX, they are not worthy of the name FSSP.  All these maneuvers and expulsions are both despicable and diabolical.  How can anyone call themselves holy and do this to their own?

    Cor Jesu sacratissimum, miserere nobis.
But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.

  • he is a new priest who had Fr. Hewko give his sermon in his place in Winona.  I suppose it is theoretically possible that somehow he did not know the content of what Fr. Hewko would say, but, knowing Fr. Hewko, I cannot imagine he would do that.  He is an honorable man to his core and would never give a sermon like that, in times like these, in the place of a new priest, unless that priest was aware and given him permission to do so.
