According to this rumor, Bishop Fellay has called a meeting on June ?, 2016 in ????? to discuss and VOTE ON the latest version of the practical accord with Modernist Rome.

The time and place of this meeting are still unknown.

Does anyone out there have more information about this meeting? For example, when will the meeting take place, and where?

  • As in 2012, Bishop Fellay is required to hold a General Chapter meeting according to SSPX governance to reconcile with newChurch.

He rigged the vote back then, but why is his behavior now, like that of a secret society leader?

His critics have been isolated or eliminated from the Society, so why does he fear the light of day?

Is it his conscience or is he taking the advice of his newChurch mentors?

His paranoia is appropriate for one who is guilty of a crime.

  • The Lord is good indeed -- I sincerely believe Bishop Fellay the traitor has outran the graces God has given him and that this is a blessing -- anyone not too far rotten will have the scales fall from the eyes and no more souls -- the weak and vacillating (to whom I belong save God's grace o n this point) lead on to deceitful ruin in the XSPX deathtrap.Only the lukewarm and the hidden Modernists will remain and a diabolical trap will be revealed. I grieve and pray for the Bishops and priests who will be lost but they richly deserve it.

  • Bishop Gallereta will be in Winona for the historical final ordinations on June 3.  Anyone leaning towards the secret meeting being in the US?

  • Wouldn't such a meeting be in Menzingen or Econe?

A meeting of "superiors" would probably be about 25 priests.
Menzigen only has 6 dormitory rooms.
Econe would be better but getting to Econe is really tough and expensive. You usually have to go to Geneva and grab a car ride to Econe which would take about 2 hours.
I think the United States or Rome or a Latin American capital would be much more inexpensive and convenient.

Bishop Tissier has confirmations in mid June all the way into July. I'm not sure if he's even considered a "superior" as  bishops of the Society are subordinate to the district superior in terms of authority.

Bishop De Galarreta reminded us earlier this year that a chapter would have to be called to OK any deal. That means, all the bishops (3), all district superiors, all heads of autonomous houses and all seminary rectors and if that isn't enough - the most senior permanently engaged priests of the SSPX up to the required maximum of 40. Don't worry most of the deck is picked by + Fellay - so it's in good hands.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • I know an SSPX priest who holds one of the positions that would place him in the General Chapter and who is attending a "superiors' meeting" during the last week in June in Switzerland.

Assuming that this is the General Chapter being discussed in this thread, please pray and offer sacrifices that God's Will be done at this meeting.  I'm disappointed (but not completely surprised) that the SSPX has not publicized the General Chapter and asked for prayers themselves.
