  • When you ask a man on the street to direct you to the Catholic Church, he will point you to a Conciliar Church. Everyone just knows what is accepted as "The Catholic Church". N.O. Catholics RIGHTLY believe that is the safest place to be.
    They're not right, they're subjectively innocent.

    Even the most reverent NO Mass in the world only serves to fortify the modern errors in the mind.  The first 10 years of the Crisis proved that.  We must have infinite patience with those who need time to understand after we tell them it's safer at home than at the NO.  It is quite another thing to tell them it's ok to go.  That's the "too far" that +W went, as he acknowledged with exemplary humility.
