  • From Fr. Hewko regarding the April 2016 Prayer Campaign (by Fr. Ortiz et al) against OLMC

Please relay to Fr. Ortiz, Fr. Voigt and all participants, that Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is most grateful for this crusade of prayers which are so much needed to maintain the Holy Catholic Faith and the clear position of our dear founder, Abp. Marcel Lefebvre. The attacks of Hell against good seminaries and Catholics who want to remain faithful to Tradition, call for an increase of prayers and sacrifices, especially that Our Lady of Fatima's request be answered! I do an Exorcism every month over the entire grounds here, and the seminarians raise their hearts and voices to God every day, three times a day, in the Divine Office as well as the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, meditation and rosary. Indeed, God never refuses the prayers of sincere, contrite and humble hearts and may He bring to light the works of darkness and confirm the sincere and humble in Truth. "Judge me, O God, and distinguish my cause from the nation that is not holy: deliver me from the unjust and deceitful man," says the Psalm.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel has already publicly announced last Fall it's disassociation from Bp.Ambrose. He did, however, profess before us, in word and writing, the Roman Catholic Faith, provided sufficient evidence (as far as we could tell) for his priesthood and episcopacy, he visited here twice to discuss his position, we never were associated with him and we will not be in the future. However, if he (or anyone) is hungry we will give him to eat, if he (or anyone) is thirsty we will give him drink.

However, one glaring violation against justice stands out in all that rise up to condemn this man, and that is, by the natural law, when someone is accused of a crime, he has the right to a fair trial which means his case must be weighed and competently judged by lawful authority. It is indeed a fact that not one of his accusers and those who have condemned him from pulpits and have written extensive treatises to declare his guilt, not one has spoken personally with him, even by phone. Not one! No, not even one. Not one has heard his side of the story and the facts, and therefore, justly weighed his case.  When one deals with a matter of Doctrine, then the author of error is known, judged and condemned in his erroneous writings, and that suffices. But, in the case of judging an individual, the most basic laws of justice and charity demand a fair hearing from the individual himself. This has not been done at anytime. This gross violation of justice for condemning, slandering, and accusing a man without a fair trial is something Fr. Ortiz and his accusers will have to answer before the Supreme Judge, Christ Himself.  Even the Godless secular State will at least respect this basic law of justice.

The visit of Bishop Ambrose to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, remains just that, a simple visit. Hundreds of priests and clergy have come through the grounds of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel over the last 44 years.  Some, holy and edifying, some less so, and no stranger hungry for bread, or the Truth, will be turned away. Let a Daniel arise to defend our innocence in this case that has been grossly exaggerated from those who have assumed to themselves an authority to declare ecclesiastical censures, judicial decrees and canonical punishments all of which show an amateur application of Canon Law and assuming a jurisdiction which does not belong to them. Again, a truly competent prelate handling the matter correctly, would respect the most fundamental law of nature and right, namely, a fair hearing from the one being accused!

Can it be that now, all those who associate with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel priests are in mortal sin for Bp. Ambrose's Mass in our chapel? This claim put forth by Fr. Ortiz defies all reason and becomes unbelievably ridiculous to turn the Mass of a visiting Catholic prelate, into an "Ecuмenical Assisi Meeting"! God forbid!

Let it be repeated for those who have ears to hear, we are not associated with Bp. Ambrose, never were, nor intend to in the future. But in your charity, pray for his soul, which the Holy Gospel demands of us.
Our stand remains always the same, we continue to maintain the Holy Roman Catholic Faith in the line of Abp. Lefebvre and the Popes of Tradition, and with the grace of the Sacred Heart, we will fight all Modernism and all compromise with Vatican Council II and the New Mass, by wherever and whoever promotes it, until we have a perfectly Catholic Pope who will at last, consecrate Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart, and issue in Her prophesied Victory. "Veni Domine Jesu!" ("Come, Lord Jesus!") Apocalypse 22:20.

                     Fr. David Hewko

Feast of St. Hermenegilde, April 13, 2016

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seminary, Boston, KY. USA

  • The above comes from the Venerable Maria of Agreda El Paso, TX Mission website. I attempted to post the link, but it would not copy it.

  • " visiting Catholic prelate"

    "visiting"   okay

"Catholic" well, maybe, by a looooong stretch.

    "prelate"    um... no.

  • What's next?

Fr. Hewko responds to the weather:

"We at OLMC thank God for warmer weather. It's much warmer now than it was during the fall when we disassociated with a perfectly good Catholic priest because we were forced to by a bunch of slanderers who proved nothing.

Can you believe we're getting temperatures up to 70 degrees? We have already announced that we will continue to disassociate with all temperatures below 40.

We're still looking for resistance canon lawyers to help us out with that forthcoming 'trial' I keep referring to. We may have to wait until Fr. Tetherow appoints one.

I should also mention that we didn't even need to disassociate with the great Catholic prelate Ambrose because we never were associated with him in the first place! So there!

Now that I think of it, no one at the OLMC even had a thermometer during the winter, so it's safe to say that we never dipped below freezing. To all those internet amateur meteorologist detractors who slandered our weather patterns, Boston deserves a fair trial!"

  • Fr. Hewko rationalizes that, "[t]he visit of Bishop Ambrose to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, remains just that, a simple visit." He blows of the true criticism of Fr. Ortiz in this regard. The criticism is in acknowledging that they continue to regard a non-Catholic as a Catholic. This seems to be the true point of disagreement, and it is an attempt at being crafty, it seems. If this schismatic is a true Catholic, then the Fathers of Kentucky have nothing nothing wrong. It almost seems that to even consider the possibility of having done something wrong is truly impossible for them, at least publicly.

Fr. Hewko minimizes the incident by stating that it is just a "simple visit", again ignoring the criticism of his brother priests and continuing in the same argument that "simple visits" to the OLMC grounds always involve "Mass", "confession", and preaching by whoever visits. Not realizing it, Fr. Hewko actually makes the case for why one should continue to avoid them. Who else will give them a simple visit in the future? Is their altar so open to the public that any Tom, Dick, and Harry can offer the "Mass" on their altar?

A lot more could be said about Fr. Hewko's response. Surely, someone helped him write it and edit it. He says that Fr. Ortiz's claim of being in mortal sin for having accepted "Bishop" Ambrose defies all reason. I beg to differ, as will most. Anybody can see the Communicatio in Sacris that occured there. Unless they can show that an abjuration of the Orthodox schism ocurred, they are liars. The most worrisome of the response is that the line "we did nothing wrong" and "Ambrose is a Catholic bishop" is being continued. The outcome of this will eventually be a "consecration" or two if they can fan the flames of this wildfire.

We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • This statement contradicts the audio recorded statement he gave last fall.  Also, no mention of the supposed "paid investigation" that Fr Hewko claimed they initiated.

This priest is proving to be more crafty indeed than Fr Pfeiffer.  They are public liars now and it can be proven with their own words.  Woe to them who still give these charlatans the benefit of the doubt.

I am praying the exorcism prayers with my family.  I beg God to shut down OLMC and send the demons to the pit where they belong.

  • The fact that Fr. Hewko is willing to piddle away what's left of his reputation to prop up the pretender Moran means they're still hoping to score a "bishop" out of the bargain.

  • Why does Fr Hewko find it necessary to do an Exorcism over the entire grounds on a MONTHLY basis?  :scratchchin:

  • This is the line that gave me the most pause....

    Quote from: Hewko
I do an Exorcism every month over the entire grounds here

I interacted almost daily for 7 years with him and I never knew of any Exorcisms that Fr. Hewko felt obliged to perform at school or at the chapel.  Between the numerous Exorcisms that Frs. Hewko, Voigt, and Pablo apparently perform, you would think they were stationed in Haiti!

I was not aware that Fr. Voigt had ever performed, or attempted to perform, an exorcism.  Can you cite an occasion where he did this?

When I met with him in 2015, he told me he was fasting in preparation for performing an exorcism.  He did not give me the details but I think it was in conjunction with one of his Texas apostolates..

So then, "numerous Exorcisms," to the extent that they might be attributed to the efforts of Fr. Voigt, involve a preparation by fasting for one intended exorcism, which might, or might not have, been carried out by Father.  I'll have to ask him about this.  It's just that I don't like to see Fr. Voigt mentioned in the same breath with Pablo in this regard.

Because he believes that place is cursed.  By whom I cannot say.

  • There go the last lingering wisps of hope that I had of Fr Hewko being some kind of naive, "innocent bystander"  in need of help extricating himself from this quagmire .   Sigh.
