  • In all seriousness now. I know that I have posted, and continue to post some ill thought out and immature things, but behind it all is a serious and contrite soul who fears over his sins. I am in need of a holy life, and an atmosphere of religion the image of which i can mould myself after.
I have applied to novus ordo monasteries in the past and they would not accept me. I also applied to novus ordo dominicans ( who are not true Dominicans) in the past, but was told to wait. God has told me of the Dominicans of Avrillé through this forum, and my news is that last week I sent them a letter asking if I could be amongst them, to serve God and win forgiveness and try to make myself perfect. If they say it is possible, or if they say I can come over, I will drop out of school and go over ASAP. I have posted anti resistance things before, and I know that the DoA are Resistance, and i posted these things not because i disagree in theory with the Resistance, but because of the rumors and malicious gossip spread about the SSPX which has yet to defect from the true faith. I want to make it clear that i dont hate the resistance, or even neil obstat, but i do this to live a holy life, and because I am in Europe and am a citizen of the European Union, I can easily go to France if I want. I ask for as much info about the Dominicans of Avrille as possible, either in posts or private message, and prayers that i will be able to endure my days if they say no.

    God bless

  • Dear Soulguard ,

The Novus Ordo Dominicans probably did not accept you because you have no vocation. Do not drop out of school to chase a vocation you may have not been given.

Why would you say that the N.O. Dominicans are not real dominicans, and at the same time believe that the commentaries about Fellay and Co. sliding into modernism are just scandolous gossip? Don't you realize that Fellay and his goons are at this very time, negotiating a return of the SSPX into modernist Rome with Dominican Archbishop deNoia?? If he's not a real dominican, why is your guy Fellay trying to join him?
When you wrote to the 'resistance' Dominicans, if you didn't include copies of your very bad posts attacking the resistance, you were somewhat less than forthright with them. If they do accept you, you should be man enough to decline. At no place in your post do you say you want to work for what's right and true; you just want to be obedient. This is a good trait, and Rostand and Fellay are looking for people just like you. Perhaps they'll find a spot for you in Econe or Menzingen. In the meantime, we could pray you receive the grace to seek the truth in all these very serious matters, and not scandalize others by spreading Fellay's falsehoods.
If you seriously wanted to find the truth about tradition, read all of the Archbishop's works again, and throw away anything you have from the pen of Rostand, LeRoux, Fellay, Anglais, Peter Scott, Schmidberger, lorans, Pflugger, or any of their hirelings. These people have proven themselves to be traitors to Catholicism, and everything they say has their disease.

How would you be able to tell from the internet whether i have a vocation or not. You cant. End of.
I have applied. I dont think the dominicans care much for the internet gossip anyway. I dont care if its a fellay monastery or a resistance monastery, that is not why i want to join, and any monk that tells you he is a monk because of fellay said this or pfeiffer said that has no vocation. I dont need your definition of vocation to do what i want. Its obvious you know nothing of real life if you think your hateful post has any chance of changing my mind. There is more to reality than internet trollin. some people take the internet way to serious, shows problems coping with reality, because you dont get the fact that what is posted here is just for entertainment and distraction, and wont admit that the internet is a complete waste of time, and yet we are all here, except for BTNYC who realized this and left Cathinfo. Say a prayer for him.

  • Heaven is only for those who persevere. Don't give up!

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

It is also for those who repent on their death bed and die having confessed all sins. ( but i know you know that because it is just the way u typed it that leaves more to be said)

I am not worthy to be a dominican, but that is exactly why they should let me try. If i cant stick the rule if they ever invite me over to a trial period, then they send me home, simple, but if i can, i will do well.

  • If you have a true vocation, soulgaurd, God will make it known to you and to the religious order to which  you apply. I hope God will bless you as you pursue this holy endevour. I think there would be nothing wrong at all asking if you can go and visit and see if it is right for you. If there are real-world obstacles, they will let you know what needs to be done. If there are spiritual ones, then they can advise you. Good luck. 1MT

  • You should have no habitual vices like smoking and you should be willing to take criticism with humble submission. The hardest part of religious life in an order is the complete submission of ones will to the superior. Also, avoid drawing attention to yourself with ostentatious displays of piety. A tendency to grumbling and back-biting would also be obstacles. And of course, one must be compus mentus.

According to St Theresa of Avila a tendency to grumbling and backbiting are serious obstaces to holiness. This applies to everyone.
