Dear Matthew,
Please tell Fr. Pfeiffer that I am very happy to hear this
news, and that all of CathInfo welcomes him, even if
we cannot be there in person. Tell him that any CI
members who do not agree should step forward to be
BANNED immediately.
HAHAHAHAHA ~~~~~~~~~~~
But seriously,
A water cooler or a big tub with water bottles and covered
with ice cubes is really impressive after Mass. (Actually,
a few .......... )
In any event, this is the 96th anniversary of the abduction
of the 3 shepherd children at Fatima by the Freemason
from Ourem. When the heat starts getting to you, just
recall the innocent children who were threatened with
being boiled alive in oil. Recall they spent the rest of their
lives doing voluntary penance in reparation for sins
committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in
reparation for sins of the flesh for which more souls go
to hell than for any other reason, in atonement for the
cruel, cold indifference and outrage to which the Sacred
Heart of Jesus is everywhere subject, and to pray for
the Holy Father, who "will have much to suffer."
I always wonder whether Our Lady was talking about
the Holy Father suffering in this world, or suffering in
Purgatory --------- or worse?!
And recall that when she returned, Our Lady told the 3
children (Francisco couldn't hear her speak but Lucia and
Jacinta told him what she said) that the Miracle she was
going to cause to happen in October would have been
EVEN GREATER if this Freemason had not kidnapped them
on August 13th, when they were on the way to the Cova
da Iria. I'm left wondering how the Miracle of the Sun
could have been any greater than it was!?
~ Could she have meant that it would have been more
widely visible, over an area greater than 5 or 10 miles as
it was? If so, then how far? 50 miles? 100 miles? 500
miles? All of Spain? All of France? All of Europe? Perhaps
even Russia?
~ Could it have meant that World War I may have been
suddenly stopped? Why not? Our Lady could render all
the guns and weapons of war to no longer function. The
bombs could stop exploding and the fire could stop
burning.
~ Could it have meant that Portugal's Freemasonic
government would have converted or the Freemasons
could have just LEFT? Why not? That very thing
happened in Austria when all the Communists just went
away, after only 10% of the population prayed the
Rosary continually.
~ Could it have meant that the October Revolution in
Russia would have been stopped? Why not? It had not
yet begun. Maybe Our Lady was going to prevent it from
even getting started?
~ Could it have meant that some great movement of
grace would have happened in the Church, to the end
that the Pope and bishops would more readily realize
the need for the Collegial Consecration of Russia to the
Immaculate Heart of Mary? Why not? Sure, this
request had not yet been announced specifically, but
recall that just the previous month, on July 13th, Our
Lady had told the two girls that she would come later
to ask for the Consecration of Russia - that was when
Lucia had thought that "Russia" must have been a
wicked woman, because she had never heard of the
country, Russia.
~ Could it have meant that all the people who would
be present would see a greater miracle than the sun
appearing to fall from the sky, or than their dirty, muddy
clothes be suddenly clean and fresh as if laundered, or
than their feet no longer stuck ankle-deep in the mud
but suddenly standing upon fresh, untrampled grass
as
if there had not been any rainstorm for 3 hours - as if
the rain had never happened, or than all the sick,
all the blind, all the lame, all the mute, all the deaf, all
of them healed as if they had never had a malady? No
more split ends, acne, hangnails or hammertoes? How
could there have been a miracle greater than that?
When the Miracle of the Sun happened, there were
70,000 people standing in the mud with filthy clothes
due to the pounding rainstorm, and many sick and
lame among them. When the sun returned to its
normal place in the sky, it was suddenly as if there had
not been any rainstorm, and it was suddenly as if the
sick and lame had always been well. It was, in a word,
as if the effects of original sin were wiped away. And
this, at the hand of the Immaculate Conception - She
who never committed sin.
She made all things new. But if it had not been for the kidnapping of August 13th,
1917, the miracle would have been even GREATER.
