  • So what?  It means little in the grand scheme of things. But since this is yet another topic involving Fr. Pfeiffer, it will probably garner 4000+ views.  That will make the blog advertisers happy, but will do little for the so-called "Resistance."

Good for them for seeing Truth.  It can take a while but others will, too.
I bet they'll still be pins on fr. Pfeiffers map in his house...  deceit to visitors.

    Minneapolis is news to me.
I am local here, and attend Bishop Zendejas' chapel.
But we have had no communication with the Pfeifferites since the divide 2 years ago.
Where can I get additional information regarding the defection of the Minneapolis chapel?

  • Uh... it's a little complicated to explain.

  • Smedley has seen the light.

In my just over 4 years in the Marine Corps (from private to 1st Lt.) I never once heard about Smedley Butler's conversion to the truth of what he says here and so much more in his famous extended composition War Is a Racket.  All I ever heard about was the war-time heroics of this 2 time Medal of Honor winner.  The last thing the leadership of the Marine Corps would want is for their Marines to learn about this man's great conversion to and acceptance of the bitter truth.  Semper Fi, the Marine Corps' chant, the Marine Corps' mantra, but always faithful to what?  Certainly not to the integrity of an uncompromising truth, especially when that truth would work to subvert much of the gung ho mythology that the Green Machine has pushed for over 200 years.

  • Not to take away from the theme of this thread, but just to add a bit to my above post let me say this.  During my time (era of the Vietnam debacle) in the military I observed the Marine Corps culture to be one of "institutionalized mortal sin" where whoring and alcohol abuse were highly lauded.  As I look back I wish I had not been present, but I recall seeing a non-Asian stripper perform totally naked at an officer club in Vietnam.  On one of the larger military installations in Vietnam they had a rather large massage parlor (aka: brothel).  At the BOQ (Bachelor Officer Quarters) at Camp Pendleton, California they had an in-house bar where scantily attired go-go girls would perform on a regular basis.  It's quite possible they sold pornography at the Pendleton Post Exchange as I know it was a common practice at some military bases.  What I say here is just a small reflection of the greater reality of that seemingly all pervasive immoral military culture I saw back in my day in the Corps.  Very sad!  So much moral destruction -- broken souls, broken families, but when I was in the Corps it all seemed like a big mutual admiration society stuck in a stupid echo chamber.

On a final note -- I will never forget the idiotic sign I saw proudly hanging in a battalion commander's office: "A Marine Corps Officer does not have the luxury of making moral decisions."  May God have mercy!

I recently saw Stanley Kubrick's 1987 film "Full Metal Jacket" at a film club screening. Please try and see it if you haven't already!

    This is another, important topic.
Being in a military organization where mortal sins are sanctioned and promoted.
Then, going into battle and dying in mortal sin.

America has never gone to battle for a Catholic cause.  Our wars have all been ʝʊdɛօ-masonically engineered.

What about going into war in a state of grace and dying for a holy cause?
St. Joan of Arc mandated that French soldiers go to confession, refrain from all sins and attend Mass before going into battle.

In order for our country to wake up, we need a good chastisement.

Well, what more can be said?  My German-American father was a Navy medic in the Philadelphia Naval Hospital where General Butler was sent during his last months and days.  My father went into considerable detail about how strongly General Butler opposed any war overseas at that time and how he became something of a genuine center of anti-war activities among the military then stationed at the hospital and in Philadelphia.  My father said the military higher-ups were more than a little relieved when the General passed away, with courage and dignity one should add.

Certainly this must confirm every prejudice my relatives in Germany could have had then about their American counterparts.  Reading the above forces me to want to hum a few strains of Deutschland Uber Alles.  Will God have mercy on America?  God knows...

    .
I would expect the vast majority of Marines would fall into this category. Once a Marine always a Marine.
    .
But once informed................ what? An informed Marine?
