  • What was said in the meeting in London with Fr Hewko and Fr Pfeiffer, concerning practical resolutions : will you have a new mass center ? Where (precise address?) ? How often will be the masses ? Which priest will come ? Perhaps it was said in the videos, but because I am French and I don't have a lot of time, it would be nice to tell us, please. Thanks.

If only there could be a way to earmark all these threads that are
on the same topic it would be great.

I think this makes about 7 of them.  And some don't have a word
in the title that identifies them as such, but the discussion goes
on nonetheless inside the 'secret' threads like that.

Last I heard, the location of the London Resistance Masses will
be variable, and the "center" will be virtually so.  There was going
to be 2 priests, but perhaps that can change.  It said "permanent"
but with all this changeability, maybe the permanence isn't so sure
    either???

So there is no schedule, nor calendar nor times of day.  But that
can change, too.  This way, it's going to be a bit of a headache for
someone to disseminate the most recent updates so everyone
can know where and when and stuff.  Think of it as the ..

    ..."wise-as-serpents-gentle-as-doves-Mass-center."

    Okay?

Thank you, Neil. Does somebody has more information? Will these priests come from America ? Or will they be British ?

  • Niel, I don't know where you heard that.

    IDS,
The address is fixed, it's been all over the internet, including in several threads on this forum, and not least in the 'Resistance Chapels' section which is where that kind of info belongs (http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php/Mass-in-London), but for your benefit, here we are once again:

    Earlsfield Library Hall
    276 Magdalen Road,
    Earlsfield
    London
    SW18 3NY

    Confessions 10.00am
    Mass 10.30

We had Mass last Sunday, and Mass the Sunday before that. The next Mass will be in two weeks' time, on Sunday 23rd June, which means we will just be meeting for holy hour this coming Sunday. That will have totaled four Masses (three of them on a Sunday) in the month of June.

It is permanent, it is fixed, eventually we'll hope to move to somewhere better, perhaps get a place of our own to turn into a chapel, but I doubt that will happen for a little while to come.

Mass will be said by whichever priest is free and can come on a given date, a mixture of several to begin with, until Almighty God provides us with a priest of our own. Which we have no doubt will happen soon.

The coordinator is a layman who lives in London, I'll give you his email address if you PM me.

And yes, there are a few threads which now need merging.

Sorry, Ed., I must have been mistaken.  Glad to see you picked this up.

    I stand corrected.  Thank you.
