  • I'm sure my brother will soon be downloading Fr. Pfeiffer's talk up here online. Very good showing, and movers and shakers were there. Deo Gratias!

My husband and I took Father Pfeiffer to the airport in Milwaukee after the talk, because his flight left there at 5am. I do hope that once he's done with everything today he gets a nice, well-deserved rest.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • I don't think he knows the meaning of the word rest.

    And when is he done?

    Otherwise, I fully agree!

  • You know, like, sleep in a bed for a few hours? Even Father needs some sleep.

I felt bad for him, because he would be in a conversation and nod off, and when he woke up, he would start another one. He has to get a little sleep in an actual comfortable place, and the airport isn't one of those places.

  • Amazing how the good Lord works. These priests are doing today
much the same thing Fathers Buldoc, Kelly, Fenton and others did 45 years
ago-- live out of a suitcase and in an airport hanger! Thank God you had the
Mass-- hope you get on the regular circuit. Also hope the " movers and shakers"
were not just Rostands little spies.

  • I don't believe the "movers and shakers" were invited, nevertheless they came.  I would like to believe they came in good faith but to me, it seemed like they were very troubled.  It may have been just a feeling, but when you are an accomplice in selling out a chapel to the enemy (if you still have a conscience), you are going to be troubled.

There is no middle ground here.  Either you are for tradition or you are not.  The full impact of that does not seem to register with at least one of those that was there.   The people at St. Michael's seem to think that they must have the sacraments at any cost every week.  That may no longer be possible especially if you want to keep your faith.   Father Pfeiffer stressed that this is a war against Modernism and that it will be Our Blessed Mother's victory.  Right now, I think she is testing her soldiers.

If we can't stand up to the neo-sspx and their leaders against the Modernism, how in the world are we going to stand up for Jesus Christ when we are called upon to fight?

Thank you Father Pfeiffer for the excellent sermon and talk.   It was a shot in the arm.  And mostly thank you for hearing our confessions and saying Mass for us.   You are in our daily prayers.

  • Correction:  Two of the board members were invited.  I don't want to give the impression that all the board members wanted the sspx at St. Michael's.  According to one source, one of the board members' wife told a friend, "the society is here to stay" and that the board members who opposed the agreement with the society have been silenced.

  • Shame on all those Board members! Shame on those who have allowed themselves to be silenced! Shame on all of Father's  parishioners who did not read and study  and understand
what Father was teaching all those years! Shame on his brothers who are specifically denying
Father's last will and testament! The very hottest places in hell are reserved for culpable priests
and laity who turn over to the wolves the sheep of Jesus Christ!

I was at Father's funeral Mass! It was made abundantly clear at the reception that Father
instructed his family and advisors to not let his faithful and chapels fall into the
hands  of the SSPX and the N.O.-- or a lifetime of work in Christ's vineyard would
    be lain to waste!

The snakes in the SSPX, who want only money and numbers, are doing what they now
    do best-- deceiving the faithful.

Like those of Culman, Alabama and West Orange, New Jersey, for a little security they have sold away their birthright. They had the freedom to be Catholic-- now their mouths are stopped up so
they can be merged into conciliarism. May God have mercy on them!

I remember being at the reception after the funeral at Saint Michael's, and I remember going up to one of the board member's tables (didn't know he was a board member then) and emphasizing the importance of not allowing the SSPX to take over Saint Michael's.

I also remember asking later on if the board was even looking for another priest, even though they said emphatically that the SSPX was there "temporarily," and getting a "no" reply.
