NEW RESISTANCE PRIORY FOR THE UNITED STATES!
The Resistance just grew it's priories by 100%!
Announcing Stella Maris Chapel! The new priory is located in Texas south of Houston near Galveston. The priory inclues a school building in addition to the chapel and rectory on 5 acres of land. Fr. Zendejas purchased this property, and is the pastor of this location.
This 2nd priory is HUGE NEWS for the Resistance. There are now TWO priories of the Resistance in the United States. The number of priories just doubled! There is now a 2nd place priests could stay if they wanted to leave the SSPX.
And it's going to be the first Resistance-affiliated SCHOOL established in the United States. Classes will begin in September.
Let those things sink in for a couple minutes. You'll understand why this is such big news. It's the biggest news since the consecration of Bishop Faure -- the 2nd Bishop serving the Resistance.
Mathematically, 2 is 100% more than 1. But in reality, going up to "2" from "1" is an almost infinite jump. You now have PLURAL instead of SINGULAR. It's not just an aberration. It suggests a pattern of growth.
This is the first such property to be purchased in the United States since the Resistance began in May 2012.
Boston, KY (the Pfeiffer ranch, with a chapel, seminary, several outbuildings, etc.) has existed for decades. But this building wasn't purchased specifically for the Resistance, and it's still private property, not dedicated solely for church purposes. Mr & Mrs. Pfeiffer still live there. But, more importantly, purchasing new property has very real obstacles that using existing property doesn't involve -- the devil doesn't want the Resistance to grow and there are plenty who are willing to help carry out that objective.
Fr. Pfeiffer's group in Boston, KY certainly has the distinctions of the First Resistance Seminary, First Resistance priory established, etc. But after 3 years of having just this one priory, some were worried that establishing such Resistance priories would be a once-in-a-blue-moon event.
BUT, we won't have to wait another 3 years to see this again as the good news for the Resistance doesn't end here! There is another Independent chapel that is planning to BUILD a much more impressive compound, and the good news is that this project is already fully funded! It's a done deal. I can only say that this project does not involve Fr. Zendejas -- it's a different Resistance priest.
