I have attached the first edition (you will need to be logged in to read, but it is in Portugese.  The DeepL.com translation app can translate portugese)

Here is a tidied-up DeepL translation to the inaugural article/introduction on p.1 by +Thomas Aquinas:

"Our newspaper has a name: For the Common Good. What does this name mean?

For the common good means to work and fight for this good that is common to all. This good and, above all, the good that is above all goods, that is, God, the Redemption, the Church.

Without the Redemption no one has God. The Redemption is so that all may have to God, that they may have eternal life and that they may have the grace that leads to eternal life.

But how many of you have access to the Redemption because they did not receive the faith, because they did not listen to the preaching of the faith, or lost the faith they had of the previous. These, if not converted, are lost; they lose their faith.  The common good is God and the condemned go to Hell.

Our newspaper is intended, therefore, to fight for the the common good that is faith and the works of faith that are the acts of virtues, and above all, charity, without which the Common Good is also lost, and Charity itself, for God and Charity.

Charity seeks to teach, correct, rebuke and build. She never gets discouraged. She always waits. He seeks in his own good, but the common good, as Saint Benedict teaches in the Holy Rule.

Our models will be all those who have defended the Church with the penalty, like the Fathers of the Church, like the Doctors and various ecclesiastical writers or lay people. Francis de Sales will serve as our example, he who is the patron saint of Catholic writers. Beside from him we have all the saints that stand out by the zeal and for the doctrine. In today's times we have as model Dom Lefebvre, Dom Antonio de Castro Mayer, Monsignor Putti and laity like Gustavo Corça and Jean Vaquie and many others. Good examples are not lacking.

Our newspaper will have a literary session, because the literature and also a powerful means to propagate the Catholic faith.

Our main enemy and Liberalism and its revolt against God. It is the root of modern errors.

We want to do the opposite work to Lucifer [...]. We want to imitate the Fiat of Our Lady. May our newspaper be consecrated to her Immaculate
Heart. We ask her to bless and protect you.

Don Toma s de Aquino, OSB"

  • Sorry the translation is rough.  I don't know a lick of Portugese, and could only improve the DeepL where I could guess the meaning of a word by its proximity to French or Spanish, and/or with the help of context.

Its better than nothing, I guess.

  • I forked out for professional translation software a ways back. I should see if it still runs on my IMac.

  • You don't have to apologize; the translation works and is pretty clear.
