AI translation:
Dear faithful, another year is behind us, another year of our struggles, our efforts, our fight to preserve the Catholic faith. And today, a few words on this very subject, on this subject which is unfortunately completely misunderstood among many Catholics of tradition, because it so happens that the majority of traditionalists discover Catholic tradition through the Holy Mass. Through the Mass, which is, however, like a crown. A crown that crowns the work. Meanwhile, my dear ones, we do not begin dressing with the crown, but by putting on socks. As a result of the fact that most of us get to know the Holy Mass, get to know Catholic tradition through the Holy Mass, we very often lack a certain foundation, a certain understanding of what this is all actually for. We start, in a way, from the end. We stop there, and as a result, it must be stated with regret that a whole mass of Catholics who call themselves Catholics of tradition unfortunately do not have the Catholic faith. A whole mass of priests celebrating the Tridentine Mass, and faithful participating in it, my dear ones, will land in hell.
What I am saying is politically incorrect, but we must realize that during the Vatican Council, even the greatest traitors, enemies of Jesus Christ, celebrated the Tridentine Mass. The Holy Mass, my dear ones, is a crown. It is a crown. If we are lacking other parts of the wardrobe, we will look like a clown. If a Catholic of tradition limits himself to coming to church and drumming out those few dozen minutes on Sunday and is unable to offer anything more to the Lord Jesus, then how does he differ from the Novus Ordo people? How does he differ from lukewarm people, from people to whom the Catholic faith is indifferent? In no way. That is why it is so important that we understand that our fight to preserve the Holy Mass is not a fight to preserve the Mass for the Mass's sake. Just so we have somewhere to go on Sunday to church, so we can check off our duty, so we can feel good. "Well, I was at Mass, I feel good about it because I went."
We must understand, my dear ones, that the Holy Sacrifice is worship offered to the Lord God, and this is the basic duty of every priest, every faithful: to give honor to the true God, to give honor to the Most Holy Trinity. Not in just any way, but exactly in the way the Lord God established, through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Mass of All Times. And therefore, my dear ones, let us ask ourselves the question: what exactly is religion? What is religion? Religion, my dear ones, is the work of the Lord God Himself. When our first parents, Adam and Eve, committed original sin, rebelled against the Creator, when they trampled upon God's law, then between the Divine Majesty offended by human sin and fallen humanity, an abyss arose. An abyss that no man was able to cross, because no man was able to make reparation to the Most Holy Trinity for the offense that human sin constitutes.
And the action of God Himself was needed for this abyss to be filled. The Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, our Lord Jesus Christ, assumed human nature. For a very specific purpose, the Lord Jesus repeats many times: "My hour has not yet come." That hour for which Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem is the hour of 3:00 PM, Good Friday, when He shed His blood in a propitiatory sacrifice on the altar of the cross for our sins. Religion, my dear ones, is the work of God Himself, who extends His merciful hand to fallen man in order to lift him up, to bring him back to Himself anew, so that he might regain what he lost as a result of sin, to bind man to Himself anew. Religare – to bind anew. Religion is the action of God entering into human history, who brings humanity back to Himself and binds it to Himself anew.
When we realize this, we realize that there is no such thing as interreligious dialogue, there is no ecuмenism, no religious liberty. There is no such thing as—allegedly, as the Vatican Council proclaims—the right of every man, stemming from his dignity, to choose such a religion as his conscience suggests to him. There is no religious liberty. On the contrary, there is a duty, a duty weighing on every man, to profess the true religion, to give honor to the true God. Every man is called to know the truth, to know the true God, and to become a Catholic. Dear faithful, Saint Paul the Apostle reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God. It is not a trivial matter what faith we profess. Because if we change anything in this deposit passed down to us by the Apostles, we will create a pseudo-religion, perhaps similar to the Catholic religion, but no longer being the true religion. It will be a counterfeit religion.
A whole mass of such counterfeits has been created by the evil spirit. A whole mass of false pseudo-religions that do not lead souls to the true God, but lead, my dear ones, along a wide and comfortable road straight into the fire of hell. He who does not worship the true God, who does not give Him honor in the way the Lord God commanded, he, my dear ones, indirectly or directly, consciously or unconsciously, gives honor to Satan. The Holy Scripture says: all the gods of the gentiles are demons. Dear faithful, we must constantly cure ourselves of this severe disease which is liberalism and modernism, with which we are all infected. Constantly remind ourselves that professing the Catholic faith is a conditio sine qua non, a necessary condition for attaining salvation. In the Acts of the Apostles, we read the words of Saint Peter and the Pope: There is no other name given to men under heaven by which we could be saved. Other than the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only savior of every man. Professing the Catholic religion is indispensably necessary to save one's soul from eternal damnation.
And in this context, my dear ones, we begin to perceive that our clinging to tradition is unfortunately often connected to the fact that we do not fully understand what this is all about. It is not only about the Holy Mass, it is not only about the piety of our fathers, about beautiful devotions, but it is about all of this primarily for the preservation of the Catholic faith, without which one cannot please God. My dear ones, at the end of November we witnessed the visit of Leo XIV [sic] to Turkey, a visit in which he once again held a series of ecuмenical meetings. He participated in the Orthodox liturgy. I observe with concern in recent times a certain trend among so-called traditionalists to abandon the Catholic religion and switch to Orthodoxy, and this concerns all groups, starting from Indults, through faithful associated with the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, to sedevacantists; somewhere people are starting to be tempted by Orthodoxy because they have a beautiful liturgy, because they have beautiful singing, beautiful incense.
And we saw, my dear ones, Leo XIV [sic], following the example of his predecessors starting from Paul VI, participating in the Orthodox liturgy. And what should we think about this, my dear ones? It was an act of insult to God, because Leo XIV took part in a non-Catholic liturgy, and therefore in a sacrilegious liturgy. A liturgy that constituted an insult to the Lord God. And we must realize that this sacrilegious character results not from the manner in which it was celebrated, because it is celebrated according to books that are also recognized in the Catholic Church, but it results from the fact that it was celebrated and was an expression of a different faith. Two small examples. Firstly, one of the many heresies professed by the Eastern schismatics, erroneously called Orthodox—since "Orthodox" suggests there is something "right" [prawego] there; we should call them "Crooked-believers" [Krzywosławnymi]. One of these heresies professed by them is the heresy concerning the Most Holy Trinity.
Confessing, reciting the Creed on Sunday, major feasts, we profess, when we come to the part concerning the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. The Orthodox, meanwhile, rejected the Filioque, the phrase "and the Son," and for several hundred years have been professing the Creed omitting these words. They profess that the Holy Spirit proceeds only from the Father. Without going into theological details, without going here into explaining what this error concerning Trinitarian doctrine consists of, which is somewhere an aftermath of the Arian heresy, it should be noted that we are thus dealing with two different professions of faith, Catholic and Orthodox, in which the difference is minimal: "and the Son," Filioque. And of course, a whole mass of various commentators, clergymen, were found who stated that it is high time to restore Eucharistic unity between the Roman Church and the Greek Churches. In other words, to allow the Orthodox to participate in receiving sacraments among Catholics, and Catholics among the Orthodox.
Leo XIV, in a letter on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, wrote that it is high time to put aside theological disputes, because the Holy Spirit unites and does not divide. What are we all to think of this, my dear ones? If we have two different professions of faith, it means that we are dealing with two different religions. Even though the difference is minimal, just two little words "and the Son," behind this lies a different, erroneous doctrine. Going further, another example of heresy professed by the heretics, schismatics, "crooked-believers," is the erroneous teaching concerning the Holy Mass. The Catholic Church teaches that transubstantiation takes place by the power of the words of Jesus Christ, by the power of those words through which the Lord Jesus established the sacrifice of the New Covenant on Holy Thursday. "For this is My Body, for this is the chalice of My Blood," and so on. These divine words spoken by an ordained Catholic priest have the power to transubstantiate bread and wine into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Meanwhile, the "crooked-believer" theologians claim that these words have no value, they cause nothing, and they attribute the power of transubstantiation to the Epiclesis, the prayer invoking the Holy Spirit, which is recited after the words of consecration are spoken. And just as a Catholic priest in the Mass of All Times, after he speaks the words causing transubstantiation, after the Lord Jesus becomes present on the altar, the first thing he does is bend his knees and bow down to God who has become present. The Orthodox, meanwhile, having spoken these words, continue standing straight, do nothing, move on to the next prayer, the Epiclesis, and only then do they give honor to the Most Holy Sacrament. And we see, my dear ones, once again: seemingly similar, seemingly pious, but yet a completely different doctrine, a false doctrine. And examples of these heresies could be multiplied.
Meanwhile, we saw how Roman Lemon [sic] with a beautiful smile like a Beatle participated in this Orthodox liturgy dressed in choir robes, dressed in a stole, actively participated in a liturgy during which a non-Catholic profession of faith was recited. In a liturgy in which there is a falsified doctrine concerning transubstantiation. Moreover, my dear ones, already several months ago he organized an ecuмenical meeting in the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, to which clergymen—in quotation marks of course—of various genders were invited. And during this ecuмenical meeting in Rome, the Creed was recited in the Orthodox version. At the tomb of Saint Paul. The booklets that the Vatican prepared for this ceremony contained a non-Catholic profession of faith. Seemingly just two little words, but nevertheless it is already a different, falsified faith. And we constantly remind ourselves of the words of Saint Paul: without faith, it is impossible to please God.
He who does not profess the Catholic faith cannot be pleasing to the Lord God. He who does not profess the Catholic faith cannot give God honor in the way he ought to do. The Holy Mass, even if it were the Mass of All Times, the Tridentine Mass celebrated by a priest who does not profess the Catholic faith, does not give honor to God. Going further, my dear ones, referring to this proposal to allow sacramental hospitality between the "crooked-believers" and Conciliar Catholics, we must realize that receiving Holy Communion is not only receiving our Lord Jesus Christ into one's heart, uniting with the Savior, but also has a communal dimension. If I participate in some liturgy, if I approach the sacraments, approach Holy Communion, I thereby express unity with the other participants and with the celebrant of that Holy Mass. And this is, my dear ones, the reason why Catholics cannot participate in the Orthodox liturgy.
However beautiful it might be, however solemn it might be, however much we might like it, we cannot participate in a liturgy that is non-Catholic, and consequently, which has a sacrilegious character and is an insult to God. And it does not matter that the Orthodox have preserved apostolic succession, that they have validly ordained priests, that they have valid sacraments. It is a non-Catholic liturgy and this causes that a Catholic ought to refrain from participating in such, because participation in religious rites of another religion is, my dear ones, a sin and is also a canonical crime. Communicatio in sacris, participation in sacred things with non-Catholics. Forbidden, strictly forbidden by the Church.
Dear faithful, we must also constantly remind ourselves that this fight we are waging, these efforts of yours on the southern front, is a fight not only for the preservation of the Holy Mass of All Times, the Tridentine Mass, but primarily for the preservation of the Catholic faith, which we express through the Catholic liturgy. This is, my dear ones, something that 90% or more of Catholics participating in the Mass of All Times, both in our country and abroad, forget, do not know, or do not understand. We are not, my dear ones, reenactors, some historical reenactment group that has a whim and wants to pray as they prayed in the 19th century. We are the Church, the Catholic Church, and the foundation of the Church, the foundation of the community, is professing the same faith. The same faith. And sometimes faithful happen to ask: "Father Bishop, can I go to Mass here or there?" The first basic question: Does this priest profess the Catholic faith? Is this priest a Catholic? Or is he perhaps a Catholic from this hour to that hour on this or that day of the week, and the rest of the time he is a follower of another religion?
"No one can serve two masters," Christ the Lord teaches us. The Holy Mass is the crown. And with great pain of heart, one sees a whole mass of Catholics who, looking at them from a spiritual perspective, do not have pants, do not have socks, but put crowns on their heads. Let us keep this in mind, my dear ones. Primarily the Catholic faith, which if we profess it, leads us to give honor through the Catholic Holy Mass, through the Holy Sacrifice, through the Mass of All Times. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Keep this always in mind and remember that the fathers of the Vatican Council—and nearly all of them, with the exception of those of other rites, Western or Eastern—celebrated the Tridentine Mass, but the devil had already possessed their minds. They were infected, permeated to the marrow of their bones with liberalism and modernism. If this happened in the 60s or earlier before the Council, if bishops at that time, priests, faithful, did not value the Catholic faith, did not value the Catholic Holy Mass, then the Lord God sent a punishment, because God takes away from man what man does not value, what he disregards, what he despises.
And this story that happened in the 20th century, do you think it has ended? Most certainly not. The devil attacks and will attack those souls who seek the truth, who desire to know the true God, who, following the example of the Three Kings, set out on a journey through unknown lands towards the true God. And we see, my dear ones, this great, enormous, greatest threat to Catholic souls in our times: the temptation of compromise. The temptation of compromise with the modernists, with the modern world. Already in the 19th century in France, liberal Catholicism was born, which taught that one must somehow get along with the world. One cannot be too radical. One must yield a little so that we might find a field for agreement. Well, one must be a Catholic, but not too much. Moderately, that is, become a lukewarm Catholic. And this temptation, my dear ones, has not died. We see, we see how many souls fall into this trap. How many souls, both priestly and lay, fall into this trap.
A great warning. A warning for each of us, the words of Saint Paul the Apostle: "Let him who stands take heed lest he fall," for the devil does not sleep. But "like a roaring lion he prowls around looking for someone to devour." Looking for someone to devour. The devil does whatever he can to destroy the faith in us, to deprive us of the Catholic faith, and he does this in an extremely perfidious way, extremely insidious, because he slips us substitutes for the Catholic faith, which resemble this faith from the outside. But Saint Augustine, one of the great Doctors of the Western Church, already warned: "Error is the more dangerous the more it resembles the truth, because it is harder to perceive." We are, my dear ones, since the time of the Vatican Council, witnesses to how true the words of Saint Augustine are. How many souls over these years have allowed themselves to be deceived, allowed themselves to be cheated, allowed themselves to be caught in the devil's trap. Are you here, my dear ones? God forbid that you will be here next year too [sic - translator's note: likely means "God grant you will be here" or implies a warning, but text says "Nie daj Boże" - God forbid], because you realize the threat that is compromise with the spirit of this world, with the sons of this world.
These are, my dear ones, people permeated to the marrow of their bones with evil. Even if they dress up in vestments, including Roman ones, even if they put mitres on their heads, even if they wear cardinal's purple, if they do not have the faith, they are not Catholics, they are traitors. And what we are obliged to do is to break off any contact with them, so as not to be infected with this disease—heresy is a terrible disease of the soul. Not to be infected. Dear faithful, a few words, because here nearby in Tarnów one of the priests of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X announced a series of catechisms intended to prepare the faithful for episcopal consecrations. Since I am here in the area, it would be appropriate for me to refer to these words, to this little balloon released in Tarnów. This is not the first such action, because similar ones took place in other countries, in France, in Germany, in the United States. Somewhere some priest mumbled something, it went onto the internet. Well, it looks rather like testing what the reactions and moods are.
And during this catechism, the priest began to explain the basics concerning the teaching on the state of necessity. The state of necessity in which we have found ourselves for several decades now. Uninterruptedly. For several decades a fight has been waged to destroy the Catholic faith. For several decades the faith has been weakened, eroded, undermined in various ways, at various speeds. But the process, this whole process, the whole post-Conciliar religion is aiming at this: to deprive people of the Catholic faith. More slowly, faster, in different countries, but the direction is clear. And unfortunately, as we know perfectly well, the bishops after the Second Vatican Council, in their entirety, did not notice this. They did not want to notice, they were afraid to notice. There was no one to protest, no one to put up resistance, no one to say that the king is naked, that what you are doing is madness. However, the Lord God does not leave His sheep alone and raised up Archbishop Lefebvre to fight, to fight to preserve the faith, to preserve the Catholic priesthood, Catholic sacraments, the Holy Mass.
Archbishop Lefebvre, what God did at the end of his life at the age of 83, realizing perfectly well that the enemies of the Church are waiting for a biological solution, for him to simply die and the problem will solve itself—no bishop, no priests. In 1988 in Écône in Switzerland, he consecrated four bishops without a papal mandate and did so invoking precisely the state of necessity. The state of necessity which justifies the sacrifice of a good of a lower order to save a good of a higher order. A situation in which the Catholic faith is threatened, in which the survival of the Catholic priesthood is threatened. A Catholic bishop has the duty to do everything possible to avert this threat. Bishop Lefebvre consecrated four bishops, entrusting them with the mission of continuing what he had begun. He passed on the grace of the Catholic faith, the grace of the Catholic priesthood, which he himself received, desiring to preserve what is most precious in the Church, without which the Church does not exist. Validly administered sacraments and the Catholic faith, Catholic teaching.
And the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, which for many years gained a whole mass of merits in continuing, in ensuring the duration of Catholic teaching and Catholic sacraments, unfortunately fell into this satanic trap of going for a compromise and began strange acrobatics. More or less open talks, dialogue with representatives of the Roman hierarchy. And these talks, my dear ones, began shortly after Archbishop Lefebvre died. With the blessing of one of the bishops ordained by him, the Swiss, Bishop Fele [Fellay], dialogue began. A beautiful word. Eve with the serpent in paradise also began a dialogue. This dialogue began in the 90s in the apartment of the Ambassador of the French Republic in Italy, Mr. Pérol; in France, in Paris, priests delegated by the General House of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, priests of various Indult communities, post-Conciliar priests began to meet and wondered already since the 90s how to reconcile tradition with the Council. This is, my dear ones, already a very long story. Only that for long years these meetings within the framework of GREC, the reflection group between Catholics in Paris, took place rather in a semi-official character.
Few people knew about them, but these talks led to the fact that in the year 2000 the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X received permission for an official Jubilee pilgrimage to Rome. The doors of the Roman basilicas were opened, various meetings took place, and my dear ones, the fish took the bait. Roman marbles can soften many a heart. And since that time, my dear ones, there has been constant maneuvering by the superiors of the Priestly Society between the fight to preserve the Catholic faith, Catholic sacraments, and compromise with the spirit of the Vatican Council; and this fight, my dear ones, this maneuvering, which brings the Priestly Society closer and closer to the abyss, to self-annihilation, to negating the goal for which it was established, to rejecting the legacy of Archbishop Lefebvre, to making him into such a mascot that can be shown, one can show off, wave around. "We are from him," but in reality we have nothing in common with him anymore.
My dear ones, the fruits of these talks, of this dialogue, appear time and again: be it the rejection of the practice of administering confirmation sub conditione (conditionally), because it turns out suddenly that it is no longer necessary. When one mentions that Archbishop Lefebvre in every case where confirmation was administered in the New Rite administered it conditionally in the Old, then suddenly amnesia overcomes some. They say it wasn't like that at all. Yet he himself wrote about it in his books. The cessation of administering ordination to priests sub conditione, because it turns out suddenly that there is no problem with the new rites of ordination. We see, my dear ones, also steps from the side of Rome, certain concessions. In 2015, the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X obtains from Bergoglio jurisdiction to hear confessions all over the world. Next, jurisdiction to bless marital unions. Some rescript of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith appears permitting the bishops of the Society to administer ordinations without the consent of the local ordinary.
Well, it would seem something is going towards the good. And most likely for this reason in 2015, when Bishop Williamson consecrated the first of the bishops, Bishop Faure, the Society published a communiqué in which it condemned this act, stating that the situation today is absolutely not comparable to the situation of 1988. That is, in other words, the situation under the rule of Bergoglio is better than in the times of John Paul II. Therefore, they absolutely condemn it. And in the same year they get jurisdiction and send a letter to Bergoglio, thanking the Supreme Pontiff for this gift. And they accept further gifts, further concessions from Rome. And now suddenly, my dear ones, in December of last year, not so long ago in Germany, the Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X states that after the pontificate of Francis, a state of necessity appears which inclines us to consecrate bishops. And now we must ask ourselves a basic question. What has changed during this time? Archbishop Lefebvre rightly invoked the state of necessity.
He had to consecrate bishops to ensure the preservation of the faith, preservation of the priesthood, the sacraments. Then the Society for over 20 years, already 30, conducts dialogue with Rome. In the meantime, it condemns Bishop Williamson for consecrating bishops, because absolutely the situation is so good that it is unnecessary. It accepts from the hands of Rome—from whom Archbishop Lefebvre distanced himself and left the principle not to conclude any agreement until conversion occurs. If we do not profess the same faith, then what sense does it make to conclude any agreement? It will have no foundation, no basis, it will not be lasting, it will be fleeting. Meanwhile, the superiors with Bishop Fele [Fellay] at the head reject this principle "no practical agreement without a doctrinal agreement" and begin, my dear ones, to conclude small agreements on various levels. They thank the Supreme Pontiff for the granted jurisdiction. So tell me, my dear ones, what happened that suddenly after the pontificate of the beloved Holy Father Francis, whom the Society loved so much, suddenly a state of necessity appears?
Since they resigned from it, since they started accepting jurisdiction from him, thanking him for it, then what suddenly changed that now we are dealing with a state of necessity again? Do Father Pagliarani, the priests, have some button and in case of need they press it and now there is already a state of necessity, then they will switch it on, switch it off? This is complete absurdity. For a Catholic it is obvious that since the time of the Second Vatican Council nothing has changed for the better in Rome. How can one claim that the situation in 2015 in the times of Bergoglio was better than in the 80s? This is pure madness. We see that there is a constant fall, a sliding down. If the Society in the times of Francis resigned from invoking the state of necessity and began to function like a regular congregation in the Church, like Franciscans, Jesuits, Dominicans as a regular congregation. Since they recognized acts of authority that he issued, which gave them privileges, then how can they now claim that suddenly a state of necessity has appeared? So there was no state of necessity when Bergoglio published Amoris Laetitia, Fiducia Supplicans? Then there was no state of necessity.
When he bowed to Pachamama, then there was no state of necessity? Then you took jurisdiction from him, and today what, after the death of Francis? What is this supposed to mean at all? What exactly happened since April, when Bergoglio left this world, until today, that suddenly a state of necessity appears? After all, his corpse is rotting in the Basilica of Saint Mary Major. He doesn't move, he doesn't speak; what did he spoil so much that suddenly they bring up the state of necessity? Dear faithful, well, what changed is that when one goes to negotiations, one must have something to threaten with. So they release such ducks [canards/rumors] here and there to calm the faithful a bit, that someday we will consecrate bishops. Don't worry, everything is in progress. But these negotiations, my dear ones, have not been going on since today or yesterday. These contacts have been maintained since the 90s. Mostly these are secret contacts, like for example Bishop Huonder, a Swiss Novus Ordo bishop, who for long years on behalf of Bergoglio secretly met with Bishop Fellay, with Bishop de Galarreta in Switzerland and there they conducted talks concerning reconciliation, talks to which selected priests of the Society were invited, not those who might object.
Talks conducted secretly, secret meetings, talks for which Bishop Huonder was empowered, which is confirmed for instance by the letter of Müller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith from 2016, which the Society possesses. So the history of this techy [likely: "tych teczek" - these files/briefcases, or "taktyki" - tactics? Text says "tych tych tej tych techi" - likely meant "tych rzeczy" - these things/tactics] is very long. And he who does a lot of somersaults will sooner or later, my dear ones, injure something or kill himself. And unfortunately, the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X is heading in this direction today, having abandoned completely the spirit of its founder and which has been soaking in liberalism, modernism for several decades. In August, I find out that, behold, in Rome, several priests of the Society arrived at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, including one of the District Superiors, for talks with Cardinal Fernandez. What can one talk about with this degenerate, with this apostate? About what? About what unity? Does the Society of Saint Pius X, by organizing further secret meetings in Rome, really believe that they profess the same faith as Fernandez?
Because if that is so, it would mean that one should stay as far away as possible. If they have the same faith as Fernandez, then every man for himself. Run where the pepper grows [run as far as possible]. They submitted the request for permission for episcopal consecrations already a year and a half ago, a year and a half ago still in the times of Bergoglio, but Bergoglio died in the meantime and in the near future, in the coming weeks, this letter, the request is to be sent to the Roman Leo. He is so smiling, so maybe he will approve something. They will tell the faithful here about the state of necessity. In the meantime, to pull the wool over their eyes. If you have the opportunity to talk to someone who will explain to you, "Well, they have to now," then ask, "And what was before?" So how is it with this state of necessity? So it appears once, disappears once depending on your needs. After all, this is mocking the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is not anyone's private farm. Either we are dealing with evil objectively, or not. Either we are dealing with error objectively, or not. No superior of any congregation has the authority to announce to himself when there is, and when there is not, a state of necessity.
Imagine the General of the Dominicans doing that. "Ah, until today I preach there is a state of necessity, and the day after tomorrow I will revoke it." After all, this is a mockery. This is a mockery. Which is, of course, intended to pull the wool over people's eyes. As some signals coming from Menzingen indicate, the Society predicts that now talks regarding their request are to last 3 years, but in the meantime somewhere a priest will appear who will say: "Well, soon there will be episcopal consecrations, we will be preparing you." For what, for what purpose? Why invoke a state of necessity which, after all, in recent years supposedly did not exist? Why tear at the carcass of Francis and now call him to the blackboard? "Oh, after your pontificate suddenly everything fell apart." But during his pontificate it was paradise. Simply Catholicism flourished all over the world. My dear ones, let us keep this in mind too. The Catholic Church is not anyone's private farm where one can do whatever one wants. Matters concerning faith are the most serious matters. The most serious. And woe to those clergymen, superiors, who back in the 80s, 90s called things by their names, were able to point out heresy, were able to condemn it, and suddenly after the year 2000, under the influence of the charm of the Eternal City, their view seemed to change, seemed to change.
And then we find out in 2015 that the situation is in no way comparable to that of 1988. Suddenly it is good. Dear faithful, on Monday I went to the store in the morning to buy chalk for the Feast of the Three Kings. And standing in line, a radio broadcast, the editor opens further phone calls, a discussion about the snow that appeared. The editor states: "Well, thank goodness we finally have this snow, because what a misfortune it would be if a generation of children grew up who do not know snow?" And I thought to myself, does it not worry, not pain anyone that another generation of children is growing up who do not know God? Polish Catholics, pseudo-Catholics in the 20th [sic - likely meant 21st] century value snow more than the true God. And this is, my dear ones, nothing else but the fruit of the fact that the Catholic faith has been rejected, forgotten. It has been forgotten that without faith it is impossible to please God. And this plague, this disease touches an ever-larger number of people, of souls, also those who claim to be traditionalists.
On this Feast of the Holy Family, we must ask that we and our loved ones never, ever value snow or anything in this world more than the Catholic faith, because there are already definitely too many souls, both priestly and lay, who have rejected the Catholic faith, despised it, and in consequence lost it. If there were faith, my dear ones, the face of this world would look completely different. But since there is no Catholic faith, there is less and less of it, you must prepare yourselves that this year which we have begun will be worse than the previous one. The direction in which the world is heading has not changed. The smile of Leo XIV [sic] will improve nothing, my dear ones, in the Church. There were such expectations. A consistory in Rome. I get SMSs, some emails. "Father Bishop, well, they will talk about the liturgy. Surely they will free the Tridentine Mass." Hold your horses, not so fast, do not delude yourselves. Well, and of course at the consistory the cardinals were given a choice of two out of four topics and chose those that interest them most. Synodality and new evangelization. The direction has not changed.
Let us not delude ourselves. The state of necessity, the necessity of sacrificing obedience to save the faith and only as a fruit of saving the faith to save the Holy Mass and sacraments, has lasted uninterruptedly since the time of the Second Vatican Council. Do not let yourselves be fooled. Do not let yourselves be told, as they will surely do here nearby, that there was a state of necessity in the times of Archbishop Lefebvre. Then it disappeared, because after all Francis was so gracious to us. He brought us so many cookies that we fell in love with him and suddenly the state came into existence again. Because those who announce this way, revoke it, will most certainly revoke this newly announced state of necessity when the time comes, and will claim that everything is normal. Well, it is not, it is not. How much we must value the Catholic faith, without which it is impossible to please God. Many misfortunes result from the fact that people do not have faith today. Let us thank the Lord God for this grace, for this supernatural virtue, and let us ask that He keep us in the Catholic faith until death. We are given to give honor to the true God. And exactly in the way the Lord God desires, which the Lord God appointed.
An incredible grace. With this grace is also associated a great responsibility. How much we must, my dear ones, strive to preserve the faith in this godless world. Remember that the Three Kings, when they saw the star in the sky, as the Evangelist recorded, rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And how do we Catholics treat the supernatural light given to us by the Lord God in the form of the Catholic religion? We can only imagine with what attention the Three Kings gazed into the sky so as not to lose the light of this star even for a moment. And how do we treat the brilliance, the supernatural brilliance of the Catholic religion? How many among us, also among Catholics of tradition, are so-called ordinary ignoramuses, religious ignoramuses who do not know the truths of Christ's religion. They will just come to church to tick it off. Hands washed like Pontius Pilate, want nothing more to do with it until next Sunday. Let us beware of this lukewarmness, let us beware of indifference, for if we do not take care of the salvation of our souls, then who will take care of it? There is no other name given to men under heaven in which we should be saved, than the name of Jesus. And let us ask fervently today that we might depart from this world with this name. May we not lose the faith, may we die with the name of Jesus on our lips, may there be no lack of Catholic priests who will be able to accompany us in this passage to eternity.
