  • Perhaps I am stating the obvious here, but it seems that Rome wants to silence the SSPX.

  • Silence via "We Are the Borg. You Will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."
If that doesn't work, silence via annihilation.

And after watching nearly every Star Trek episode in existence (multiple times over), I can't tell you how many times I've heard from Captain Whomever (Picard, Janeway, etc.), "I'll take your silence as acceptance of..."  I can't believe that Bishop Fellay would even buy into this "tolerance" nonsense.

  • If it is wrong to like a post just for Star Trek references, I don't care.

Hey, some pop culture references transcend pop culture and simply enter the mainstream culture of the day...

  • It may not be a direct reference but it is an apt allegory of the absorbtion of any and all groups who treat with Conciliar Rome.  "The pantheon will add your uniqueness to our own"

What a world we be living today if every Bishop took his Oath Against
    Modernism seriously at Vatican 2.

That's my point!  There can be no reconciliation with Rome until the latter renounces its errors.  This is the modernists' manifesto and guide-book:
