We had Mass on Sunday in the Greater Toronto Area with Bishop Zendejas. I had not seen him since his Consecration and was not sure what to expect.
His demeanor was that of a quiet man who knew what he wanted to get across. His sermon was a masterpiece of Catholic Teaching, explaining about suffering and what we are to do with it. He also taught that we should be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart and offer our sufferings to her.
I have not heard a sermon of that calibre despite attending SSPX Masses for over 15 years!
In spite of the terrible winter weather, everybody showed up. There were over 10 children, the youngest under a year, and two teenagers who did an excellent job as servers. All the people showed great commitment to the Mass Centre and were edified and inspired by the Bishop. He calmly assessed our current situation in a practical manner and outlined his plans for our Mass Centre. He gave his commitment to provide us with a monthly Mass in 2019. He expects that the regular monthly Mass will help our Centre to grow.
He will return February 17 to give us our next Mass. All are welcome to attend. The time and location will be announced later.
After 6 years of uncertainty and betrayal, there is great hope for the future within the Resistance!
