  • I recommend to any and all to go see the good Bishop Williamson and here what he has to say. Last night I had the privilage of seeing him in Brewster, NY. It was great to hear from the Bishop his perspective on how and where this train we are on is going.

So I guess you weren't scared off by Fr. Goldade's March 27 email?  :scared2:

(forwarded to me by a friend. Fr G is the prior of Christ the King in Ridgefield CT, which is 15 mins from Brewster NY where Bishop Williamson was on April 1.)

    Dear Parishioner,

Thank you for filling out the census card after the first of the year.  I have created an email list which I (alone) will use sparingly.  The purpose will be for last minute notices - Emergency Alerts.  Please do not respond to these emails; my correspondence is behind as it is!  Due precaution will be taken that your contact information remain secure.

There has been some concern in the last week over a mailing that was sent to many parishioners about an event.  The event is neither sponsored by Christ the King Church nor approved by me. To dispel any concerns, Christ the King’s current mailing list has not been stolen or shared with any third-parties.  As most of you are aware, there are easy ways to access addresses online and the Church cannot stop people from compiling a list in this way.  And it is possible that individuals who formerly had access to the church’s mailing list retained copies.  This cannot be entirely controlled, but security measures are in place to protect parishioners’ personal information.

Thank you for your understanding and your fidelity.

     A Blessed Easter!

    Fr. Michael Goldade

  • How shameful.

Fr. Goldade was fortunate to have been trained under +Williamson -- he should know better.

All the propaganda and lies against His Excellency can deceive some -- but who would be deceived by propaganda about someone they KNOW personally?

If your mother were slandered on national TV, would you believe it? Or would you denounce it for the slander and lies that you KNOW, FIRST HAND, that it is?

  • I know Father Goldade. I have never heard him say anything bad. It is a shame he doesn't support Bishop Williamson.

For once, just once I would love to hear their responses to this. Of course there isn't a proper one...

Indeed but to use this Irish example.

"back row l-r: Éamon de Valera, O'Higgins and Rory O'Connor at O'Higgins' wedding, 1921. O'Higgins was later to sign O'Connor's execution order."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_O'Higgins
    Quote
Between 1922 and 1923 Kevin O'Higgins confirmed the sentences of execution of seventy-seven republican prisoners of war, including Rory O'Connor who had been best man at his wedding

O' Higgins was later killed in retaliation.

Nobody disputes some dislike the Bishop. He has support though. No doubt about that. The crowd that sicken me are those too polite to state their opinion of him.

Those who support Bishop Fellay are no friends of mine. You couldn't depend on people like that.

  • Has John Vennari ever stated as to why the 'h0Ɩ0cαųst' interview was a 'mistake'? At the time even here in Ireland many stated the Bishop was 'imprudent'.

'New Templar' an Irish Trad who posted on Ignis Ardens stated the Bishop was 'imprudent'. As far as I am aware 'New Templar' is for an agreement with Rome.

A belated April fools joke. Name a person scared of Bishop Fellay and his gang. Who believes their propaganda?

  • Thank you for your understanding and fidelity?

The implication being that one is faithful by refusing to attend.  Faithful to what, I wonder?  Rhetorical question.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).
