Communiqué of the Monastery of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Reichenstein (Germany)
After careful consideration and prayerful reflection on the matter, we hereby make the following announcement:
Due to the grave internal problems within the Monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue and the fact that recourse was taken to the "Resistance" for the conferral of ordinations, we distance ourselves from the authority of the Reverend Father Placide (Prior of the Monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue, our motherhouse). Our conscience no longer permits us to remain dependent on him.
We wish to continue our monastic life in fidelity to the Benedictine tradition and to the tradition of the Catholic Church, alongside and in friendship with the Priestly Society of St. Pius X.
Monastery of Reichenstein, February 2, 2025,
on the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary
    P. Bernhard O.S.B., Prior
    P. Benoît O.S.B.

Reminds me of Steffeshausen and Avrillé :clown:.

    "Grave internal problems"....
They used Bishop Morgan to confer orders.
Now that is very grave!!! But Bishop Huonder and Newchurch bishops... no problemo!!!
Okay, perhaps there are other issues we do not know about. But what could be graver than that???
I wonder if they are scurrying back to the SSPX because their finances and vocations have dried up?...
It's difficult to have the courage and faith of the martyrs, but that is what is needed today more than ever. We need to put God and the Faith before everything.
