Rain is a symbol of grace, so it can also be said that at the recent SSPX consecrations they were blessed with graces through all that rain.

I remember being in Virginia for 
+Bp. Zendejas’ consecration and we were walking and kneeling in mud as it rained over the course of two days. 

In Rome at the year 2000 SSPX Pigrimage, we were in a field for Mass and the Bishops were giving out Holy Communion to a very large amount of people as servers held large umbrellas over each bishop in the rain.

Recall thinking when seeing photos of Fatima on Oct 13, 1917, that the Portuguese  were very strong in their Faith to show up in muddy country side to see Our Lady.

It had rained for days.

Those 70,000 souls really wanted to be there.

But no consolation came with drying for the SSPXers
