I was there. It rained heavily just before communion. The celebrant got everyone to pray a chaplet which took around 30 minutes. The chapelet ended and so did the rain. Then we took communion. Within an hour everyone was dry again

It's not much of issue, as we occasionally have far worst weather on the Chartres pilgrimages.

"This is war!" Strong words from a strong bishop. Unfortunately, no one sees any signs of trumpet blowers among the new 4. I hope that they voice themselves loud against modern errors. I dont see any of them being another Williamson. A bishop should not only be a "machine" to go around dealing sacraments. They have to preach and direct the flock, and warn them where the wolves are. Preaching and teaching is part of a bishop's dna even if they don't have a geographical diocese or jurisdiction.

Agreed.

Especially since the same reason we need auxiliary bishops (need for Traditional Confirmation, ordaining of Traditional priests, and consecration of Holy Oils to be used in the Traditional Rite, etc.) also means there is a Crisis in the Church, a Crisis of Faith, so there is an equal need for true doctrine, leading the flock and warning against errors, etc.

Is fighting error and preaching the truth ANY LESS NECESSARY than giving Trad Confirmations, ordaining Trad priests? Not at all. They are both equally necessary.

Tom, I'm a holy guy, and it rains all the time on me here in Kentucky.  In fact, Louisville averages more rainfall than just about any American city.  We must be a bunch of evil, hillbilly, screw-ups here in Kentucky?

It literally did not.  Lying is a sin.

Besides if you watched the consecration today it was the timing of the rain which was the most interesting.
Not some drizzle.
But RIGHT BEFORE COMMUNION.
I was there as well for Bishop Zendejas' consecration Mass and First Mass as a Bishop.   It definitely did rain.  I remember there being a river flow of water running through the tent by the choir area.  Thankfully we had a raised platform. :incense:

Where you there?  :fryingpan:

At the time of the communion of the faithful? Are you drunk?
