Question for Carmel Books

  • Perhaps Carmel Books can state where the money is going? I had regarded Carmel Books as being "independent". Fr Fabrice Loschi is New Society. Fr Couture will probably get this money.

I would encourage all who are faithful to the heritage of Archbishop Lefebvre to support the fundraiser organised by Fr Chazal.

If Fr Loschi and Fr Couture are stuck for money, surely Krah can give them  a "dig out". He might organise a raffle.

Well, John Grace.....I'm surprised at you! Would you deny a poor child a bag of rice just because you don't happen to agree with what you assume this holy priest thinks? For your information I happen to know that many "Resistance" people have already ordered copies of the boxset and that by no means indicates that they are "gone soft" or are followers of Krah et al! I also know that the funds raised will be going directly to the people in need - so maybe you should get down off your high horse for a change and see what's happening on the ground and give decent people a chance instead of instantly branding them!  :heretic:

  • IN VERITATE VICTORIA,

Firstly, it is reasonable to ask, who will receive the money. The new society unlike the "resistance" is a well financed pious union with assets in the millions and Zionism at its root. I have no desire to finance Zionist groups. Get angry all you like but why should one support the neo SSPX?

I have sent money to the Philippines. The money has gone to those, who have not betrayed Archbishop Lefebvre and who continue his work there.

Regarding the retreat CD, who has rights to it? Many believe Fr Couture has claim to these rights?

Fr Chazal made an appeal and I encourage all to support this.

All we can do for the new SSPX is pray for them.

Fr. Chazal has written to us to ask for the help of our readers and the faithful at large regarding the devastation wrought by the Typhoon in the Philippines. The Resistance priests and faithful in the Philippines are in need of our help, he says, particularly for:

    1. Rebuilding the destroyed chapel of Dagohoy
    2. Assisting our faithful who sufferd from the 7.2 earthquake, then the supertyphoon, and this with the remainder from the construction money.
    .
    He continues:
"Hopefully, as far as our faithful of the resistance are concerned, our four missions of Maasin, Santa Cruz, Hindang, and Ormoc are on a protected side of the island of Leyte. I hear that the villagers of our missions in Bohol have suffered from the typhoon as well. No damage for our 20 faithful of Cebu.
The XSPX chapel of Tacloban has probably been disintegrated, and most of the faithful there may have lost everything. But officially i am the devil for fr Ghela, the xspx pastor, so i can only pray for them.
Fr Pfeiffer will be on site ten days or so from now, but i am still teaching at the US seminary until the end of this month."
    .
For readers wishing to help, within the United Kingdom, donations for the appeal may be sent care of the Recusant Mass Fund,

    Deal,
    Kent.
Please make sure it is marked "Philippines Appeal."

    Many thanks.
