Well so far there has been no announcement about Bellaigue and a deal with Rome which was warned about 7 years ago has not come about in REALITY.
So, I will wait and see what ACTUALLY happens.
What do you mean there has been no announcement about Bellaigue? It has been announced by the General House to all the District Offices, and Bellaigue has now become persona non grata on all SSPX websites.
As regards no deal with Rome yet the formal deal on paper was only denied by Rome, when they rejected Fellay’s signed Doctrinal Declaration, in order to help him survive, and purge the Lefebvrists from the SSPX.
Meanwhile, the de facto deal has been happening right before your eyes, sacrament by sacrament, and jurisdiction by jurisdiction, and you haven’t the wits to notice.
As Bishop Fellay has stated, the only thing that remains is the official seal of approval.
For that seal, Rome will wait for Pagliarani to acknowledge 2+2 = 4 or 5 at the upcoming doctrinal discussions. There is no other purpose for another round of discussions (particularly when Pagliarani announces that it will not be necessary for them to convince Rome in that very same announcement).
I suspect you are a newbie, and may not be aware that the Roman-SSPX plan to “proceed by stages” is 20 years along, and 95% completed.
Tge SSPX is now conciliar, and does not bite the hand which feeds them.
