Maybe Fr. Pfeiffer will use this occasion to resume wearing his normal, black cassock (as normal in the U.S.) considering he is no longer in India/the Philippines/other parts of Asia.

As an aside, why has Fr. Hewko crossed his stole over the surplice? A priest only does that with the alb and never the surplice.

It's nice to see the Irish represented. I was hoping to put a friend of mine in contact with Fr Hewko. He has considered the religious life. The thing is when I met him recently, he had a 'bit of news'.  He is meeting a lady soon.

I favour the approach Bishop Williamson suggests but having said that, it is wonderful to have this new seminary.

That doesn't give a true picture because the Irishman and another one left and the Spanish priest went back to Spain so why can't they just post a picture of the lads about to receive the cassock instead of a picture taken months ago packed out with altar servers and people who aren't even there?

I would certainly encourage people to go and support the men. I favour a move away from the classical seminary. Having said that, from time to time, I send out a few dollars for this project.

We should pray for our seminarians and priests.
