The latest development concerning Msgr. Ruscitto's estate, is that his brother gave it all to the SSPX.

What a sad irony, since the SSPX never supported Msgr. Ruscitto?

In fact, there are eye witnesses who claim Msgr. was actually snubbed by a contingent of SSPX priests when Father Gabriel Magana celebrated Mass at Msgr.'s chapel in Traver, shortly after he was ordained in 2004.

Oh well...

Rack another one up for that old German fox, Fr. Wegner.

He's so shrewd.

I seemed to have missed the original post Incredulous.  This priest sounds like he was pretty darn special.  Eternal Rest....

May Monsignor Ruscitto Requiescat in pace.  ( Really good sermon too)
Pray for his family and parishioners.

Yes, very unique 2Vermont.  He had been recruiting for his successor for years.

The crypto Diocese operatives around him would always throw a monkey wrench into the works to prevent the continuity of the TLM in Traver/Kingsburg.

But for sure, he didn't want his assets going to the SSPX.

There's little ground support for the SSPX in that part of the Central Valley.
The Society will liquidate Monsignor's properties and abandon his flock.

Mission accomplished... another Independent TLM chapel neutralized and out of the way of the SSPX.
