Social media is buzzing with rumors that Father Tom Uzhunnalil will be crucified by jihadi kidnappers on Good Friday. Just yesterday the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, based in South Africa, warned on Facebook of the priest’s imminent demise.

Father Uzhunnalil is a member of the Salesian order who was kidnapped by Islamic radicals in Yemen on March 4 during an assault on an old-folks home that saw 16 people murdered including four nuns.
It is widely believed that when Father heard the screams he consumed the Consecrated hosts as ISIS broke into the chapel and took him and put him in a car. The Salesians claim that they have been torturing him like Christ during his Passion and they will crucify him this Friday.
Please join your prayers with the many who have begun prayer chains to ask God to prevent this suffering and to save him and others being persecuted from these tyrants.

What's disgusting is that our "wonderful" American government is completely behind the creation and ongoing sustenance of ISIS.

Yes, they do evil things. Yes, they are wicked. But don't ever forget whose side they are on, and who they are working for. They are doing a job -- create terror and horror, to push their master's agenda. They are a creation, a servant, and a tool of the US Government.

For those aware of the true nature of the world, who controls things, etc. the whole thing is ridiculous. The United States claims to be fighting ISIS, while they actually SAVE ISIS, give them weapons, air rescue, etc. while bombing hospitals, electric grid, oil refineries, infrastructure, etc. to weaken and degrade Syria, so we can get rid of their President Assad. The US basically gives ISIS valuable air cover/support so they can conquer and hold territory.

It is unfortunate that most people still believe the mainstream media and do not accept that ISIS is a creation of the US/ nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr to destabilize nations and usher in their agenda..... One of ISIS main goal is to destroy Christianity and it aligns very well with the NWO brotherhood of death!

Govt trying to secure release of priest Tom Uzhunnalil in Yemen

New Delhi: The government is making all efforts to secure the release of a priest from Kerala who was abducted by a terror group in Yemen last month, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said on Saturday.

The minister’s remarks came in the backdrop of reports claiming that the terror group planned to execute the priest on Good Friday yesterday. However, there is no report of any harm having come to him so far.

“Father Tom Uzhunnallil - an Indian national from Kerala was abducted by a terror group in Yemen. We are making all efforts to secure his release,” Swaraj said.

Uzhunnalil had gone missing in Yemen after the Islamic State militant group attacked a care home run by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.

“Yemen is a conflict zone. We do not have Embassy there. But we will spare no efforts to rescue Father Tom Uzhunnalil,” Swaraj had tweeted earlier.

Gunmen had stormed the refuge for the elderly earlier this month and killed a Yemeni guard before tying up and shooting 15 other employees. Four foreign nuns, including an Indian, working as nurses were among those killed.

I am not disputing he has been captured and is presumably being tortured but that can't be a picture of him. There are conflicting reports:

From Benwen Lopez, in Dubai: "Friends...this is regarding Fr. Tom SDB I have spoken to the secretary of our local Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia...and he has confirmed that "crucifixion" of Fr. Tom is a rumour and not true. Efforts are being made for his release.

So please continue to pray for his release, and avoid spreading any such information."

I agree the reports could be false ( including the picture that was posted on the Indian Catholic blog) and Pray that it is all not true.... it is difficult to believe the media and who is saying the truth anymore.

However, it is a fact that the Rev. Fr. was captured during the attack. We will have to wait and watch and keeping praying. The truth will come out sooner or later.
