[Photo of Fope Francis]Honoring Herzl, the founder of тαℓмυdic Zionism
Contrast this with what Pope St. Pius X had to say to Herzl (when the тαℓмυdic Zionist Jew sought the Vicar of Christ's support for a Jєωιѕн homeland in Palestine) as quoted in Herzl's own published diary: "We are unable to favor this movement [of Zionism]. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem—but we could never sanction it. The ground of Jerusalem, if it were not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church I cannot answer you otherwise. The Jews have not recognized our Lord, therefore we cannot recognize the Jєωιѕн people."
Those were the days.
Actually, Francis is doing nothing new -- that is, for HIM. He has for many, many years been sympathetic (feeling together with) Jews and Judaism. Long before he was elected in Rome, he hob-nobbed with Jews in South America where he came from. One must wonder if the event pictured below had anything to do with his election!
