Pour répondre à l’encouragement à « seguir adelante » (continuer à aller de l’avant) que lui avait adressé à l’issue du pèlerinage de novembre le cardinal Cañizares Llovera, Préfet de la Congrégation pour le Culte divin, le CISP avait demandé, en début d’année, la disponibilité de la basilique Saint-Pierre à son archiprêtre, le cardinal Angelo Comastri. Ce 14 mars, le cardinal Comastri a confirmé la disponibilité de la basilique samedi 26 octobre prochain, à 11 heures, pour la célébration solennelle qui sera le temps fort du pèlerinage.

Le Cœtus Internationalis Summorum Pontificuм remercie le cardinal Comastri pour son hospitalité et invite tous les groupes liés à la forme extraordinaire du rite romain à se préparer dès à présent par la prière au pèlerinage et à s’associer activement à son organisation.

Constitué en juillet dernier, le Cœtus Internationalis Summorum Pontificuм est l’organisateur du pèlerinage du peuple Summorum Pontificuм – prêtres diocésains ou de communautés, séminaristes, religieux et fidèles attachés à la liturgie traditionnelle – à Rome. I mean c'mon Neil, certainly Our Lady can effect change - and through Her intercession we know that She will certainly do just that some day, but in the mean time, don't lose sight of reality...................there is only one Chosen Vessel of Election and that was St. Paul - unless you honestly have reason to believe that this pope will be the beneficiary of the same grace, (and other than having the hope of such a thing, this pope has not given anyone the slightest reason to have any such hope), hence you have no real reason to believe that such a miracle will happen.

All it takes is a stroke of his pen to show Our Lord and Lady that he wants to do what is right and THEN we can hope Our Lady will effect change - until then, the only signs we have to go by so far is that our pope is another modernist pope who needs our prayers desperately - same as the other conciliar popes - and like all things modernist, we cannot follow him in error - and we cannot allow ourselves to be taken in by his devotion to Our Lady - after all, wasn't JP2 wholly devoted to Her as well - Luminous mysteries and all.

All we can guess is that ultimately, the devotion was insincere, which is why Our Lady did not effect change in JP2 - or we might surmise that Our Lady actually did effect JP2 to some degree or he would have been an even worse pope.

Yes, it is our duty is to pray for the pope, but we can never drop our guard when it comes to the disease of modernism - it is, after all, what it is - and please correct me if I'm wrong but by now, after 50 years of half lies, we should know better and have no business giving them the benefit of the doubt.

This news release doesn’t suggest anywhere that Francis has “given his full support” to the celebration of the traditional Mass in St. Peter’s. As far as I can discern, it appears that the availability of an altar was checked and reserved. Francis may or may not even be aware of this action and may or may not intervene. But this is hardly giving his “full support”.

Suggesting that this news release is Francis giving his “full support” is like suggesting President Obama is giving his full support to a particular committee that has checked to see if a conference room is available and, finding it free, has reserved the committee for a meeting. The president may or may not even be aware of the committee, let alone giving his “full support” for the committee. Likewise, I think it premature and even dishonest to suggest, based on this news release, that Francis has done anything regarding this particular matter.
