  • The Pope just blessed the Olympics... for humanity.

    http://www.traditioninaction.org/religious/m030rpOlympics.html

This is even more reason for us to support Msgr. Fellay's SSPX prelature deal.

When his Excellency walks into Rome with his 500+ priest, in their long cassocks beaming with holiness and a new "understanding" of the VII misunderstandings...   the modernist will fall down on their knees and repent!

The Olympians will put on clothes and there will be a TLM at the Olympiad every morning before the games begin.

SSPX fratres, can't you see it?

Our "German shepherd" is such a visionary!

"Blessed" John Paul II... can you help us?

An Omissive Pope Blesses the OlympicsMarian T. Horvat

TIME covers - immodesty & the idolatry of sport in the Olympics 2012
My good friend Jan and I are in perfect accord on the Summer Olympics 2012 that opened in London on July 27, 2012. We are against them and are boycotting them. The dress – or lack of it – has become downright embarrassing. Most of the athletes – men and women – are semi-nude. Catholic Morals teaches us that blatant immodesty is not acceptable at any time, including in sports.

A secondary reason that Jan mentioned: “They are having women’s boxing for the first time. That is revolting, watching muscled women wearing mouth guards punching each other in a ring.”

It was not difficult to find a preview of how athletes would be appearing in the Olympics. Interviews and photo spreads have flooded the internet, television, and print media. Take a look at three of the five pre-Olympics covers of Time Magazine above, and you will see pictures that Catholic Morals qualifies as indecent, not permissible in any good Catholic home.

Today, it is sad to say, most people have become so accustomed to immodesty in sports that it hardly causes an eyebrow to lift. Not to mention the complete silence of preachers on the matter. These Olympics testify to the death of Catholic modesty.

Benedict XVI – an unrestricted blessing

Benedict XVI is following in the steps of his predecessor John Paul II, who praised athletics and sports as a tool to build a universal brotherhood. The primary focus of sports shifted from a tool to bring man closer to God to something different, a tool to foster universal fraternity.

Benedict XVI blesses the Olympics unrestrictedly as a tool for universal fraternity
In his Sunday address on July 22, 2012, Benedict reaffirmed this new focal point.

“Let us pray that, according to God’s will, the London Games are a true experience of fraternity among the people of the Earth,” he said. Can Catholics accept a universal fraternity based on sports and games, setting ideas and faiths aside?

“I send greetings to the organizers, athletes and spectators alike, and I pray that, in the spirit of the Olympic Truce, the good will generated by this international sporting event may bear fruit, promoting peace and reconciliation throughout the world. Upon all those attending the London Olympic Games, I invoke the abundant blessings of Almighty God,” Pope Ratzinger concluded. (1)

    Addressing the question of the Olympics, it seems strange that the Vicar of Jesus Christ on earth did not warn his more than one-billion flock of three important points: •first, Catholic athletes should dress modestly according to the rules of Morals in order to not cause scandal;

     •second, Catholics should not watch sports wherein these rules are not observed;

•third, Catholics should not make sports an idol.
Doesn’t the Pope’s duty to teach Morals oblige him to alert Catholics, and especially youth, to practice custody of the eyes, that is, to avoid the danger of sin - to which watching almost nude bodies performing athletics and acrobatics can certainly lead?

Since Vatican II, we no longer hear sound moral norms preached by the religious authorities.

    Pre-Vatican II guidelines

When Pope Pius XII addressed Sports Leaders on November 8, 1952,  he laid out some principles to orient Catholic athletes. (2) Today these sound instructions have been set aside and forgotten. He reminded us that the immediate purpose of sports and gymnastics is to discipline, develop and strengthen the body. The remote purpose is to contribute to the perfection of a man’s spirit, and the supreme goal is to bring man closer to God.

“It follows,” he instructed, “approval must be given to everything, in its proper place, that helps to attain the ends indicated. On the other hand, whatever does not lead to those ends or leads away from them, or does not keep the place properly assigned to it, must be rejected.”

Based on this criterion, he issued these warnings:

Violent women dressed like men enter the boxing arena; below, near nude water polo players
     • It is wrong to esteem the body more than is right, “to make a god of the body” by paying too much attention to it. This is “because the first place in man’s composite belongs to the spirit, to the spiritual soul.”

•In some sports, gymnastics and dance, “there is a certain nudism which is neither necessary nor proper. … The religious and moral sense place its veto on that kind of gymnastics and sport.”

    • Sports and gymnastics should not be made the highest aim of life, which would be “too trifling for man, whose primary greatness consists in far higher aspirations, tendencies and talents.”

    • The practice of sports should not compromise the joys and duties of family life or religious duties. Although the Church does not forbid sports on Sunday, she insists “that it remain the Lord’s Day, the day of repose of body and soul.”
In short, what Pius XII counseled is that the correct hierarchy of values must always be kept. Moral integrity and natural modesty, due care of one’s’ life and and health, the duties to family and profession, must not be made secondary to sporting activities and their successes.

What a good thing it would be if Benedict XVI, instead of cheering the Revolution at each new step it takes, were to pay a little more attention to what his Predecessors taught. This would prevent his “blessings” on sports from being in such blatant contradiction with the previous Catholic Magisterium, and would prevent the faithful from falling into the diabolical disorientation in which we live today.

  • I learned from somewhere awhile back about the Olympics being Masonic. It has to do with the symbol of the rings. It also makes sense because of the modern revival of paganism, for the Olympics in ancient times were played by the pagan Greeks. I was just reading right now on the Spanish Wikipedia that St. Ambrose influenced Emperor Theodosius to abolish the games.

    Taking Back the World

St. Paul tells the Corinthians they must not be like the Israelites of the time of Moses. Don’t lust after evil things, as they did! Don’t do forbidden things, like they did! Don’t tempt Christ, as they did!

That last one is puzzling. How do you tempt Christ? Well, that means disobeying God through sin, “pushing the envelope,” as they say, to see how much you can get away with. We tempt Him to let His chastisements fall upon us, as they did upon the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God is not pleased. We, “upon whom the final age of the world has come” (1Cor.10:11b), must find ways to avoid the grievous errors of our time, lest we perish with the unbelieving world.

Our problem is that we have to live in a world that is totally turned away from God. The organizers of the London Olympics have provided venues at the Olympics for the major religions of the world, but the name “Olympics” comes from Mount Olympus, the home of the Greek gods. The original games were started in 776 B.C. to honor the chief god, Zeus.

But the official logo for the London Olympics is the word “Zion” in clever disguise. The Iranians threatened to boycott the games because of this, but they have since changed their minds. The lights for the Olympic stadium stare down like the eye of Osiris from pyramidal structures surrounding the stadium, resembling the pyramid on the US one dollar bill. There are other strange pyramids, like the ugly new tower that looks like Saruman’s evil tower at Isengard in The Lord of the Rings.

The question is, what are the Freemasons doing there? And the Zionists? Should we fear for the city of London, or Big Ben, or the Tower Bridge, or the Royal Family? And what about the Olympic athletes themselves, and the huge crowds from all over the world who have gathered in London for this huge event?

It seems that everything that touches our lives has been taken over by powerful organizations that seek to control the world, and to establish the infamous nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. They control every government system, the media, the education system, our entertainment, the religions, including the new church of Vatican II, the drug trade, the Health Care system, the food supply, and practically everything else.

Those who allow themselves to be swallowed up by the Revolution called the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr will perish with it. But those who begin to take charge of their own lives still have a chance to win the crown of victory, as St. Paul tells us:

“Do you not know that those who run in a race, all indeed run, but one receives the prize? So run as to obtain it. And everyone in a contest abstains from all things – and they indeed to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable” (1Cor.9:24,25).

Many of us take an active part in the education of our children, especially by homeschooling. But there are many other things we can do. First of all we can pray, we can keep the faith, we can live a life worthy of our calling. But we can also write the music and the songs, we can write the stories and the plays. We can stage the plays and make the movies. Some among us have already done these things. We don’t have to depend upon the TV and the Internet for our entertainment. Almost everything they present for our consumption is corrupt, and corrupting.

What about children’s TV programs, and movies made for children? And the music? Often there are subliminal messages that few are able to detect, but they affect the mind nevertheless, and remain long after the original source is gone. They are placed there to corrupt our minds, especially the impressionable minds of the children. Take the movie, The Lion King, for instance. In one scene the lion, Simba, appears to collapse to the ground, raising a little cloud of sparkling dust. The dust spells a word, but it is hard to see unless you look at it closely. If you can, take a close look at it. Whom can we trust?

We do not have to be helpless victims. We can do better than they can, even if we do not have the resources to which they have access. Whatever happened to home entertainment? It is rare these days, because so many people are glued to their TVs, or their computers, or their I-phones. Mindless slaves, they are no longer able to defend themselves.

It takes a long time to realize that most TV programs and movies are poison for the soul. Of course they have their rating system, G for general audiences, PG for parental guidance, etc. Warnings are included for language, violence, and adult content, so most people think this is all they have to worry about. But they leave out the most important warning of all – the warning about the anti-Christian worldview embedded in these productions. And the subliminal messages. Who notices?

Once upon a time most the Christian worldview was taken for granted, and people did not have to fear books and plays and songs. The Church had her Index of Forbidden Books, and her own system of rating entertainment. But today the prevailing worldview is pagan and anti-Christian, and most of those who write books and produce movies and TV programs, are working day and night to deceive us and corrupt our minds. The world around us is not the world God intended. It’s the world Satan and his agents have made of it.

So where are the capable leaders, the authors, and songwriters, and playwrights, and artists, and historians, and philosophers among us? Some of you already doing wonders. But young people, get ready! You will be left to fight the good fight in the future. You must be educated, you must read, learn your catechism, make good grades, practice your music. Everyone has his gift from God, and you must cultivate your gifts and use them. If we don’t use them He will take them away. If we use the gifts God has given us, He will give us even greater gifts. We will need them, because we must take back the world from those who have stolen it away. We must take it back for Christ the King.

Viva Cristo Rey! Long live Christ the King!

Thanks!   I didn't know this... but it makes sense.

The "Artful Dodger" gives a peace blessing to our "elder bros" pagan games.

Don't worry.  Bp. Fellay and Max Krah will straigthen everything out after they help incarcerate Bp. Williamson for hinting the tribe lied to us
and the prelature deal is settled.

  • Pope St. Pius X and the Olympic Games

New Book Details Pontiffs Support of Sports as a Tool of Evangelization

VATICAN CITY, JULY 27, 2012 (Zenit.org).- It was 1908 when, in the wake of a serious economic crisis, Rome renounced hosting the Olympic Games which were eventually celebrated in London, England. In the same year Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympics, sought help from the Vatican to support the Games, and Pope Pius X in person offered him his support.

More than 100 years later, the British capital is hosting the Olympic Games for the third time; the opening ceremonies were today.

That moment at the beginning of the 20th century is described in a book titled "Pio X: Le Olimpiadi e lo Sport" (Pius X: The Olympics and Sports) by Antonella Stelitano. At that time "less than 1% of the population practiced any sporting activity, ... and sport was used only as a form of military training or as a pastime for the upper classes," the author explained in an interview with Vatican Radio.

However "St. Pius X ... was aware of the educational potential of sports." He saw it as a way "to approach young people, and to bring them together while following certain rules and showing respect for adversaries."

One such example was in a speech that Pius X directed toward youth Oct. 8, 1905. "I admire and bless with all my heart all the games and pastimes, gymnastics, cycling, mountain climbing, boating, jogging, [...], competitions and academics to which you dedicate yourselves The exercise of the body affects wonderfully on the exercise of the spirit. Because these activities require more work, you take away that sloth, which is the father of vices, and finally because the same friendly matches will be in you an image emulation in the exercise of virtue," the Pope said.

"I believe," the author explained, "that he understood that it was possible to bring people together simply, without any problems of race, religion or differing political ideas."

At that time in history many people did not understand the importance of exercise, said Stelitano who concluded her interview by recalling an anecdote where Pius X told one of his cardinals: "All right, if it is impossible to understand that this can be done, then I myself will do exercise in front of everyone so that they may see that, if the Pope can do it, anyone can do it."

  • I recall during the 2004 summer games watching TV with a group of friends. (This was years before I even began to convert.) It was the women's 100m sprint, and I dimly realized how unnatural and Amazonian a spectacle it was. I remember feeling disgusted, and also confused about why I felt disgusted. But I said "there's something wrong about women behaving this way..." and my friends grew quiet for a few moments, as if they saw it too.

These days I don't watch TV and try to remain indifferent to circus theatrics like the modern Olympics, but I still have an inexplicable urge to know the "medal count". Seeing the medal count feeds some very petty complex I have - always vaguely satisfied to see America in second or third behind Russia and China, both disappointed yet somehow exultant that Canada underperforms every time.
